im really not sure because the spork has a good point when he says that it depends where it was located. i must say though, it would be very helpful in giving hugs or holding someone. also when doing the dishes. i know a lot of places i wouldnt want to have that extra hand located though.

I guess I should have been more clear on location. If it came out of your ankle, for instance, it wouldn't be all that useful. Except maybe for hacky sack. Anyway... I know the guys from the rock band "the Presidents," best known for "Lump." (coincidentally, I also met the actual President. Weird.) Do you know any famous people?

There's a book of mis-heard song lyrics. It's called "Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy." The first time I heard All-star by Smashmouth, I thought that in the opening verse he said "and the shit of an elk on her forehead." It turned out, of course, to be "the shape of an L..." Sometimes I marvel at my ztoopidishness. So today's question is: Have you ever mis-heard song lyrics? (preferably in a humorous manner)

heh, that song "bad moon rising' or 'bad moon' or 'bad moon on the rise', or something like that.. I always thought it said 'there's a bathroom on the right' I was 8 or 9 at the time then i was singing it one time in the car and my mom started laughing and explained my error. it DOES sound like he's saying bathroom, though!

Happy belated birthday,Safeway. Since I'm late with my birthday wishes,my virtual present to you will be an armful of trumpet lillies and erm...a new car? hehe! Hope your day was a happy one. :) I have a large collection of snowmen(wood, stuffed, ceramic, etc.). I also collect teapots that look like things(rooster,ghosts,etc.). I have a few Elvis collector plates, but not the whole series. Anyone who saw the amount of lipstick/lipgloss I have would think that's a collection too. :D I don't know what happens when you die. It's sort of a frusterating thing to think about really, because we won't know until we die. The third letter of my last name is N.

if you believe that there is only one timeline that we follow, and therefore probably no alternate universes/timelines then if you went back in time, you either wouldn't be able to as the universe would realize that you didn't belong there, or if you believe in The_Truth's my_bubble_wrap_polyvers_theory, then everything around you would probably be frozen in time and you would just be living one instant as opposed the the entire past but if you believe in mulitple paralelle universes then you could conseivably go back in time and change things, now, that doesn't mean that if you then went back to one second after you left from your original time anything would be different as the timeline you changed things in would reject the future you were going to as you might have caused the demise of somone who would later work on your time machine, BUT, if you stayed in the timeline that you changed and let it play out until it was the same time as you left, then a couple of things might happen, A: X would happen, B: the two timelines would merge, (as you are in both at the same time, although they might not as you might be in a different place or any number of variables), or C: nothing would happen and you would be able to live in which ever timeline you wanted, you could stay in the one you changed things in, or you could go back to your own. and about ageing, that's a discussion for another time as for me, i would go back to when soda's were really cheap and really good and buy a bunch

ok, time to play catch-up. . . i don't really collect anything, but i am the craziest pack rat you've ever seen. i just can never bring myself to throw anything away. it's pathetic. after we die? heaven. i hope. i guess i believe more now than before but it is more for my own sake. i need to. i wish i could just die and get it over with instead of letting the idea consume me. but i guess that is ridiculous. why be so worried over something i cannot control? it depends what last name. v or a. clumsiest thing i have ever done is grab a guy's balls during a game of mafia. i was sitting with my head down when someone took my sunglasses off my head. i reached back to get them and instead of grabbing the sunglasses i grabbed this other guy's crotch behind me. he was this insanely shy, quite guy and i have never lived it down. so many people won't even stand behind me anymore. i just laugh. if i could go back in time, i would have closed the conversation box. or never had the conversation in the first place. my favourite thing about blather is the way i choose to view it. it has been explained to me and i have come to the conclusion, that it is a world made by people who don't quite fit into the one we are living in. . .almost as though they chose to make a new one. that fits so well with the defiance in me. i guess i just feel understood and fearless in the blather world. what a gift.

I try to wake up late enough that I'm not obligated to eat BREAKFAST foods. I avoid breakfast foods. Cereal is ok. I usually end up eating frosted flakes or something like that... or else any sort of lunch type food. but if I had it my way, breakfast would always involve biscuits.

hello again you missed me, i'm sure :) soooo you know, i was planning on coming back from being gone for just shy of two weeks and having lots of ztupid questions to answer. . . and all i get to answer is whether or not i've experienced deja vu and my longest break from blather. well my longest break from blather, besides the first 15 years of my life, was the two weeks i was just gone. but then, i've only been blathering for 3 months or so now. it feels much longer, though. i have deja vu absolutely all the time and i got it really bad once on the trip and it freaked me out for several hours. oh and i don't have a favourite alcoholic beverage because i don't drink. . .but i don't suppose i'm missing out on all that much. and even if i am, at least i don't know it. safeway. i'm disappointed in the lack of questions. but i apologize for being unable to assist you in your time of ztupid questioning need.

Hospitalized...heh, I was in ICU for two weeks with pneumonia(Bet I'm spelling that wrong). That was fun. That also went along with my surgery answer a few questions back.

um yeah I've been in the hospital once when I was 4 and ah I contracted this (shudder) unmentionable ah scalp infestation from a kid who had the same kind of hat as I did, and then another time when I was 14 (I broke my nose high jumping, I was trying out what's called the western roll and my knee collided with my nose - I should have stuck with the faulsberry (sp) flop. Yeah up until maybe 2 years ago most people figured I was 8 or nine years younger than I actually was, but ah now with the enfeebling encroachment of several maladies I'm beggining to look closer to my real age (my spelling still sucks) this is a pretty neat page glad to see endless is back later

ok. this is the last time i'm going to have to do catch up for a while, i promise. people usually think i'm quite a bit older than i am, and (since i'm a youngin) i don't have a problem with that at all. i don't often blathe under one name but i have a on a few occasions. a couple of times just to feel more confidential and other times because i was bored and i made a whole entire life up. or sometimes i think it would be so much fun to write under a guy's perspective, so i've done that too. . .but mine as well not say who because that would ruin my fun. i mean, common! it's blue page. i can do whatever i want. i think i only look like me. i think most people think so too. i'm really not sure though. i feel guilty about everything. as anyone who knows me. just everything. it's ridiculous but i am doing much better. . . because, well, i realize it's ridiculous. hi oldephebe. good to see you in the blue too. haven't heard from you in a while. wow and the things you take for granted. like toilets. people just take toilets for granted. and then you go and pee outside for a week backpacking and you will never take those beautiful thrones for granted again.

um about my aunts dying from uterine cancer, as well as (on both sides of my family) my college roomates and sometime business partners' aunt dying from it as well - umm I hope I don't alienate the other guys if i say that with each death I began to notice that they occurred at certain critical juncutres in the maturing womans life - there were seriously unfullfilled acts of creation in at least three, middle class women rlegated to a life of playing hostess and nurturer and no time left for herself, also the onset of of cancer coincided with the on set of menapause - a third repeating factor was the death of a cherished parent - wich the favorite or favorite daughter was seleceted or pushed into the role of caregiver - um I'm a little embarrassed and I don't want to go into it any deeper but ah I've spent thousands of hours talking to some of my close friends who happen to be women/girls at the time - and ah besides being a big fan of a womans wiles I've tried to in my own stumbling way, larn from some of the things people have shared with me - for you women what I'm saying is like Dr. Suess land, yeah I know - um but I just wanted to share a little, this is what i was talking about when I mentioned to a fellow blatherskite? that part of a man strenghth comes from knowing when to be strong, knowing when to take a more gentle posture, understanding comes from closing your mouth sometimes, and stemming the flow of testosterone, and begin to learn to empathize as best a guy can, with his mate, listen, learn, read a pamplet, talk to your sisters, get your mind off of self for once - part of a mans strength resides in his capacity to find out or intuit what role he needs to play or be to be the best mate for his woman - sorry for the digression -it may seem choppy because I'm cutting a lot out - later

as far as cancer, yes, three of five of the women in my mother's generation did, and all survived... i didn't know much about it, or see much of them while it was being treated... one of those was my mother, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer when i was in new orleans... i feel terrible, because i was so engrossed in my own struggle for Life that i wasn't able to be there for her in her much more literal one... but she has always lived a relatively healthy life, and after the hell of chemo treatments and a histerectomy, she is healthier than she ever has been, and i am veryveryveryvery grateful (my mother is quite an incredible woman). ahem. as far as supernatural phenomenon, well, if you're talking about ghosts, i was told that i was concieved in a haunted house (my father, a strict atheist, swears to this as well), and have had various minor and not horribly concrete or exciting run-ins with various sorts of spirits quite a few times... some more concrete than others, some that still make me look over my shoulder nervously. psychic flashes, well, a skeptic's mind is very tough on defining these, but i can certainly say yes to at least some. and magic? darling, i'm a chaos mage, and no one comes to that without being seriously skeptical first, and between what i've seen and what i've done i can answer a resounding oh boy have i ever. with a side of guilty/sly grin.

once my boyfriend at the time decided to peel out of a parking lot onto a side street. the street was wet, so we made a ton of noise and almost hit a couple parked cars. and having our shitty luck, there was a cop a block away and watched the whole thing. so we get pulled over, and it's the biggest asshole cop in town. always looking to bust teens for drugs. well, that he did. my stupid boyfriend said ok when he asked to search the vehicle, which gave him the right to also search me. we both got possession of marijuana tickets, and they put us in the back of two different squad cars, handcuffed, while they searched his truck for another 20 minutes trying to find more. driven to the jail, booked, finger-printed, mug-shots and the whole works. then they put us in these two separate cells. the cop first comes to mine and asks me if i want to tell him where i get my pot. i refused, and he badgered me for a good 15 minutes. then i had to wait for them to interrogate him, and finally let him go. the first thing we did when we got back to the truck... went to a friend's house and got high...

hee hee hee... got fired for sexual harassment by IHOP on new year's eve... i had requested off two months earlier, but, well, this is a college town, so they had next to no waitrons, so they said no... worked my other gig at the bar first, had just enough time to get pretty plastered between jobs... at midnight there was nobody in the restraunt and i was outside with a server and the security guard, bitching that i was missing a great party, and that every new year's eve found me at least partially naked. they suggested that i could flash them, so i did (and lemmie tell ya, when you're drunk and wearing that fucking apron and the white shirt tucked into your pants, it's not easy. worked the rest of my shift, felt like hell around 2am (booze wearing off, hangover setting in), and at 8am after 10 hours of work, the bitch manager (the other one didn't care) called me into the office and fired me for "sexual harassment." i didn't argue; two jobs was killing me anyway, and my hours just got upped over at the bar. so. yes, i have been fired, and i'm damn proud. :)

Yes. I was standing at a counter waiting for a purchase to be rung up. I could feel dizziness coming on, so I left the person I was with standing there, mumbling that I needed to sit down, and quickened my pace trying to reach a bench to sit at. I got about halfway across the distance between where I had been and my goal, when my vision was covered in squares of darkness. I was told that I fell very gracefully. It didn't even hurt smashing into the checkered linolium. There was some great sense of relief after fainting. The part that bothered me most was the woman from the jewelry store running over with water, a worried expression on her face, asking if I needed anything. And then the security guard coming over after she had run off to find him, and he asking if I needed an ambulance. I should have eaten breakfast that day. After that incident, I became a hermit. I was too terrified of fainting in public again, and large buildings like that one I had been in when it happened began to scare me. After a year or two of never leaving my house, though, I willed myself to snap out of it. But that's_another_story.

i've never fainted before. i used to play games with my cousins where we tried to push on each others chests or something until they fainted. it worked with my brother but i just got a very bruised chest and light headed. i've only been close a couple times. twice because of asthma and once backpacking. it's extreme stuff.

Do you want to be buried or cremated? (or other) And why?

cremated-- its just easier, and I don't want to think of my body rotting and taking up space under the ground somewhere.

burnt to cinders, munched by maggots ... ech, decisions, decisions. I did once have my mind set upon being cremated; the whole concept of decaying in a box horrified me. now, though, I'm not sure. maybe have my ashes scattered over ground where saplings are planted? could I be more disney?

my uncle was telling me he went to a humanitarian funeral, and he says it was one of the best things he's ever been to. he's not a morbid man by any means, he was just awed by the concepts and procedures of it. he said that's what he'd like done to him when he died. my brother, who is a humanitarian, said, "what, be buried in a cardboard box and everything?" he said, "yeah, why not, it's not like i'd know". that way you would truly return to the earth, become nutrients for plants, be part of nature's cycle. i'd like that.

if i had to be buried, i think a cardboard box would be the only way i wouldn't come back and haunt some asses. i have made it very clear all my life that i want to be cremated; it's a physical release of the energy that makes me me, so that the trees can breathe me and the plants can eat me. i've also specified that there are about 5 people that get portions of my ashes, which they will each know what to do with, which for most involves consuming them, but one or two dislike the idea and they're to bury me beneath a tree, as my parents are. physical manifestation of the spiritual process of the Big Reshuffling, don't ya know.

eh, i'd answer this one, but as i've told you all many times before, i'm never going to die, so, luckily, i don't have to worry about this one. i'm very content with my way of thinking, so please, don't try and set me "straight." :)
