IKC 56-80 my mom and dad had a bunch of guests over last new year's and when i got home they were still there. my dad had all the stuff at the bar to make a vodka martini and he went ahead and let me sneak one from the batch he was making, big tumbler, ice, dry vermouth, Grey Goose vodka. Let me put it this way, if it's an acquired taste, i won't be acquiring it anytime soon... and eyuughhh...olives...bleh champagne, on the other hand is something i could get used to is underage and mostly dry 021127 ... misstree martini time! there are so many ways to do martinis... vodka is, imho, the only way to go, as opposed to gin. belvidere, preferably. dirty extra dry with an olive can be good if chilled well, though my favorite was belvidere, sweet vermouth, splash each chambord and gran marnier. garnish with lemon twist or squeezed quarter. marvel at its taste, sip it or fall down. 021128 ...
