My boss wants to meet with me after I get back from lunch. I have not been this scared in a long time.

I stood up for myself on 10/30, and was fired on 10/31. I did nothing wrong; in my heart I am sure of that. One of my co-workers once mistook me for believing that business stands for progress. I never believed that for an instant, and I certainly haven't been converted by this melodramatic turn. Mixed feelings abound... but I'm glad I stood up for myself.

you talking to me there, rubydee? ("you twokin ta me? I don't see nobody else here, you twokin ta me?") eh, sorry, a little de Niro for you all... um, yes, I come back periodically, because the writing can be so good here. I found out about Livejournal and I write much more over there (eatsoylentgreen.livejournal.com). But every so often I get the urge to cast my words upon the anonymous blathersea. So I'm back. Or I was never gone.
