Across the Universe Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cup, They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe. Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my open mind, Possessing and caressing me. Jai Guru De Va Om Nothing’s gonna change my world Nothing’s gonna change my world Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes, That call me on and on across the universe, Thoughts meander like a restless wind Inside a letter box they Tumble blindly as they make their way Across the universe Jai Guru De Va Om Nothing’s gonna change my world Nothing’s gonna change my world. Sounds of laughter shades of earth are ringing Through my open views inciting and inviting me. Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns, It calls me on and on across the universe Jai Guru De Va Om Nothing’s gonna change my world Nothing’s gonna change my world

Lennon was a good writer. One of the best. Certainly the most recognised figure in music ever. It is unfortunate that he was killed (on my birthday funnily enough), but he ahs left some good songs for people to enjoy.

He possessed an incredible ability to channel his tormented pysche into his music. I'm thinking of the "Plastic Ono Band" LP, of course. With the likes of "Mother" and "Isolation", it's powerful stuff. I'm not trying to demean his other work. I just prefer some of his simpler, more emotionally raw songs. "Don't Let Me Down" is another one of those. It sickens me that a mentally unstable "fan" put an end to his life more than twenty years ago. I'd like to put a few bullets into the body of Mark David Chapman, if he ever gets out of prison. Still...at least we've got the music.

Sometimes I don't want to face life Sometimes I feel empty inside But every moment is precious And everyone will turn to dust Dust myself up and I scream at the sky It's been so hard but I can't let it die Turn my head up, looking at the stars So many years, I still wonder where you are? Dust myself up and I scream at the sky It's been so hard and I ask myself why Turn my head up, looking at the sun Waited so long, it's time to move on Look at the sun, look at the sky Another day, another sign And every moment is precious And everything will turn to dust Dust my self and I scream at the sky It's been so hard but I can't let it die Turn my head up, looking at the stars So many years, I still wonder where you are? Dust myself up and I scream at the sky Every day I ask myself why? So much pain pouring from inside Above me I feel the spirit of fly Son Song - Soulfly (with Sean Lennon) - Primitive

as soon as your born they make you feel small by giving you no time instread of it all. til the pain is so big you feel nothing at al. they hurt you at home, and they hit you at school. they hate you if you're clever, and they dispise a fool, til youre so fucking crazy you cant follow their rules. they torture and scare you for twenty odd- years , then they expect you to pick a career. when you cant really function youre so full of fear. keep you doped with religion, and sex and TV when you think youre so clever and classless and free but youre still fuckin pesants as far as i can see there's room at the top, the're telling you still but first you must learn how to smile as you kill If you want to be like the folks on the hill.

It was true and he was merely saying it. Actually, he was a fan of The Beatles and he was also on drugs. As were The Beatles but thats irrelevant. He was an amazing song writer and statement maker. He was never really understood and that is why I desperately want to speak with him when the end of my time is upon me.

yeah he was crazy, among other reasons. that wasn't really the specific reason. he was completely obsessed with him, and wrote his LENNON after John in the bible...

he said that statement after seeing people going bonkers for the Beatles. And it was true! He wasn't saying that it was cool or bragging in any way, just that they were bigger than Jesus.

and Chapman was a Beatle fan. He said he would just have easily killed Paul, just because they were famous. It explains the statement he said after Lennon's death: "I just shot John Lennon"
