I've seen a few falling stars pretend to be significant for me. I forget about them, though. Now I think I'd like to find a big blue sparkling gem lying on the sidewalk in the rain. 'cause I walk in the rain, and life ought to give me at least that much. I'd kick it lick a lazy rock, and it would skip into a puddle and disappear.

(My elevator stopped making its special noises, so I don't really talk to it anymore.)

...his name. roadie for a famous hip hop artist. I didn't really pay attention to him during the show, when he got on stage, I quickly scanned his arms in between sips of whiskey sours and singing the chorus to Wu-Tang's TRUIMPH. Quickly I noted "damn, he's cut..." and that was that... ...and the rest was a blur... until about 3 hours later, I'm at the hotel, about to embark on a groupie mission. "Nah, not me..." I thought. "I mean, he's not even the famous one...." Then, I looked at the famous one, and then back at diamond's arms, eyes, lips, and that sick bulge in his khakis. "why the hell not?" slut justification... "I'm not after money." slut justification... "he looks better than so&so, and so&so is the famous one..." slut... "And he's durbing me, without expecting reciprocity..." just a damned floozy... But he made this floozy feel right. No harm, no foul. That was my first and LAST 'curtain call'
