klarchen One magical day I was thinking,
"wouldn't it be lovely to look for new kool backgrounds to use for my site and e-mails?".

So I searched for "kool backgrounds".

They were all the pathetic, swirly, frustrating, and nausiating type.

(I think that many of you will know what I mean by this.)

Then I found a link to, "new dream network".

I didn't really find any kool backgrounds there.

However, I soon realized that I did not care about kool backgrounds anymore because I stumbled upon the place where I am right now.

Communication is vital for human life.

Addiction is inevitable.

The Truth I was smoking a bowl one night in front of my computer. Suddenly, I craved eye candy! I wanted to look at amazing images that were asthetically pleasing as possible, like computer generated landscapes, or fractal art. I was hoping to get really lucky and find some trippy psychadelic screen saver that comes with the best techno music.

So... I did a search on the word "trippy".

As I browsed through several pages of descriptions, one caught my eye on the third page. It didn't promise eye candy or laser show software. It contained only words about the word trippy, and how trippy this website was, whoa. (Or something like that) So I was drawn there, and was so amazed at what I found: An outlet for my thoughts on any word I could dream of. That was about a month ago! I really love this site.

kingsuperspecial I don't remember how, I think someone said 'you should do search on the word blather, you'll like what you find.'

I recall thinking that this person, who is rather dim and unstimulating, knew of such a nice place.

I've been lurking about ever since, though I only recently got brave enough to blath regularly and use the same name all the time, like I want people to know me and follow my adventures.

there are people here that I no NOTHING about, and I love them. I've ready 1000's of lines of their text, and they'll never know and we'll never meet but they will be part of my life forever now. that's nice.

Quiet Man I was looking for pictures of worms, yes worms.

I have aquired this obsession of late, which compells me to identify these bizarre things that I find in my backyard -living things. Snakes, spiders, I need to identify them. I need their name, their taxonomic classification, the binomial nomenclature which designates them scientifically.

What a sick and twisted perversion I have succumbed to. But still, I am compelled. I must identify and classify.

So these worms, I've been finding them not in my backyard, but in my bathroom. Near the toilet, and they really are bizarre because they just lay there motionless, until you prod them and then they wriggle obscenely like a snake. They are black and shiny, and about 3 inches long.

I cannot identify them. Perhaps it's for the best that I found a new pastime in this website, which as it stands to reason, I feel overly compelled to classify.

oldephebe So one evening, the air was thin and streaked with pain, and I began ruminating on all the reasons that tie me to this field of throe - all the minuets of misery, the dreary do nothing weariness of all my unwakeful ...
all the the quotidian - queries
all the days my life lay in an open legged splay - all these unkept promises I'd made to an earlier more invigorating .. me. - I didn't want to stay tauck in staying staid and unstirred -
On this particular premonitory
The Child of Blight mused and nothing could ameliorate the stone seal of despair straddling this concavity the broken swale of a chest hollowed out by harrow or maybe i should say i'm all hollowed out by harrow? aaH! an angry ah not the ah of epiphany - So anyway I'd sought out some sleek crisp after dinner banter with an old friend, a pale reminder of home ... and I found nothing could ameliorate the, my? unhinged erotic ambition, nothing could validate the concessions I'd made to my life's unnatural dance - So you know, out of these banalities - the unendurable broken moments of an imminent instestinal imbroglio, the crush of a colon and then back from my spate of excratory splatter the moment is broken and so beut then this brings me back to these banalities baked in these ceaselessly striving compulsions -
snf snf? and The Child of Blight smirked. I'd scoured a lifes beveled bottom - I'd benn buffeted by big cities broad shoulders - and I smirked. lonliness and blather.newdream.net upon this crag - upon THIS i will cling and clasp upon it the dregs of a dying life? out of desperations throttling clasp this is what i choose to moor myself to? out of this enfilade of arrows hurled into my sighing heart - i keyed in the word lonliness -
Funny, that. (abhorrent grammatical construction so why stop now)funny that word lonliness - nihilisms niche? no i was all lonliness and aching breaths - and it did nothing to ameliorate this thanatoptic thoughtscape. I'd sifted though all my sophisticated mechanisms of discernment - you know save me from my own mysticism right? I keyed in lonliness and saw all the embroidered breaths of this canvas cracked open - and can i get real, for real, for real,
for real??! (truncate exclamation point it's an obvious superfluity and adds nothing) -dare I appropriate and approximate Anne Iverson's inimitable imperial ire? No. But can we be real? Ok the raison d' etre -rip it out and watch its endless evocations shimmer and frost? Boy, wouldn't that be Boss!
The song sweeps all sorrow out - so blather bend down and gather the detritus, gather the end unto a self -
and watch it spiral up and out -
lonliness
Bring me to this banquet of babble,
out of the thorns and bramble - look -
Sarah McGlauphlin is stinging me with every syllable of her holy song.
My learned tongue couldn't take me out of this Oceans' bottom floor black - couldn't bring me back -
Let these realms be festooned in filigree, with these indulgences, And Can We Be Transfigured in all this?
Oh! Death wing shadow sweep me up in your exquisite empty obliterating embrace! So see I peacked out my pointless placard ..

Mandijabster jillian (aka xyz) told me of this site. It was quite fun, something to do in boredom. Now it is an addiction. And since our poetic friend has recently begun blathering, we have xompetitions to see who blathers the most. This blather is to get me back to the number one spot actually. although it has much meaning and importance. 031105

x PLEASE for sake of the rest of this, end this contest. 031105
...
girl_jane I agree with x. Blathering shouldn't be done in order to win anything-trivial or not-

That contest just makes you write to write. Please, have the contest on paper between the two of you...not on blather.

Alvarny I can't remember how I found this site, but the atmosphere here is electrifying, vibrant and so very much alive. One can feel touched just to be part of it.

It's like I am a thread in this whole web of words, ideas and exchange. And there is such a strong sense of identity and belonging which sometimes can be overwhelming.

It is in a sense, true global citizenship. I love the people here and thank you all, for everything.

Mandijabster actually...its not a competition really, jill feels it is and does it so we may speak. i do not balther just to blather...in fact i rarely blather at all for all for there is nothing to talk about, but when i do..i blather. but really, ur blathering about 'our' competition...really is funny. im sorry i cant be as philosiphal as you all and contribute to the good of society, but it amuses me that you actually had something to say seeing as it was in all good fun, an inside joke if you will (you philiosiphal ppl know what that is..i hope), between my friends and i. in all honesty, if this really were a competition...id just say :) about every word possible, but i dont...i say whatever the hell i want, whenever i want. but thank you all for your comments on that inside joke..it made for a good discussion today in anatomy. 031106
...
Mandijabster jill: you made it sound like
jill: i was competing
jill: which i clearly am not

now that we have that cleared up, and the fact i cant spell philosophical right...im going to move on.

jill: becky's name isn't in there at all

and yes she has a point...stupid falling_alone and her blathering ideas...making up that stupid inside joke and actually counting, get a life becky! sheesh! making me get yelled at...sitting there watching me type that in library...well, at least she found it humorous..so shes forgiven..but sheesh! last time i listen to her

OuT that sounds very much like...

It may be, then, that the natural general principle that will subsume this case appears to correlate rather closely with a descriptive fact. To characterize a linguistic level L, the earlier discussion of deviance may remedy and, at the same time, eliminate a corpus of utterance tokens upon which conformity has been defined by the paired utterance test. On the other hand, most of the methodological work in modern linguistics is, apparently, determined by the traditional practice of grammarians. To provide a constituent structure for T(Z,K), the theory of syntactic features developed earlier does not affect the structure of the ultimate standard that determines the accuracy of any proposed grammar. For any transformation which is sufficiently diversified in application to be of any interest, a subset of English sentences interesting on quite independent grounds is not subject to an important distinction in language use.

And I know that one translation is white wave, but I wanted to learn more so I did a search on google for the words Jennifer plus white wave on the same search. And here I am. Just goes to show how sometimes when you lose something you find it when you're not looking for it...... 040121

Raina I must confess, I was cyberstalking a username that I interacted with on another website. He was intriguing to me for some reason, and I was extremely bored. Typed in his name on google, and found a few of his ramblings here.

He doesn't blather anymore (ha) but I'm still here.

Thanks h8r.

Ivory haha. I am a voyeur. I love to look at personal ads from people around my area just so I can see who does these things. I found this really neat looking "goth boi" as he termed himself that lived in my state, and his profile was incredibly funny.
I actually made a point to start talking to him over aim, and one night, he just sent me the link because he said it would make me feel better to rant.
Ha.

IGG i found this site when i typed in a single word.
it might have been lonely
but it's a long time ago now and i don't remember.
i remember i liked this site and worked up the courage to post on it, about a day or two after i had found and gorged myself on the words of these beautiful skites.
looking back at many of my blathes i feel embarrassed, snapshots of my younger self being self-pitying, angry, immature
but also sometimes poetic.
i would have deleted them if i could,
but it's a good way to see where you've been
as writing is such a personal, immediate thing
that when you see yourself and others frozen in time and with a particular emotion driving your response
it can be quite comforting.

long live blather, and shine on you crazy diamonds.

Soma it's been so long I barely remember. Back in the day I was using google to find index directories, by which I could download high resolution images and mp3 files. I was digging around sites like the old Donnie Darko website where you had to break it apart to solve it. ANd somehow, while blissfully clicking around the internet and filtering through random words to try and optimize my searches... I found this.

I wish I knew the very first blathe I read, though.
