at the simplest level, it is sharing. when the sharing is withheld, misunderstanding and confusion ensue.

via 5 Physical Sensors, 3 Logical Sensors, & finite media created infinite signals / messages which could be interpreted from negative to positive left to right, bad to good, up to down, ..., by different recipients.

"communication is not just words. communication is architecture. because of course, it is quite obvious that a house, which would be built without the sense, without that desire for communication, would not look the way your house looks today."

what is the venue? what is the discourse? what is the format? What is the frame of reference? I'm single, and getting more single every day. I am almost entirely isolated from single people now.

In the past studies of communication, the reseachers always based the theories on the importance of the transmitter and not on the receiver of the message. It is now prouven that, even if the trasmitter has some bad intentions with is message (of manipulation) it might not work because the principal component of the communication system is the receiver himself. When the receiver create sens with the message that he received, he have automatically to do it through his perception of the situation, his own intentions, his own needs, of what he thinks are the intentions of the transmitter, his souvenirs of ulteriors interactions with the transmitter, the consequences that he anticipates from the fact that he accept to understand and believe what the transmitter is saying, the representation that has the transmitter in the public, the passing of time, the ideological orientation of the group from which the receiver is part and the value he accords to the group he belongs to, the social ambiance in which the receiver get the message, the fact that he might feel forced to play a character, his personality, his character, his social class, his frustration level, the nature of the medium through which comes the message, etc. etc. René Jean Ravault - 1998 (free traduction from french - sorry for the mistakes) And now, we are wondering why it's so hard for humans to talk to each other !!!

it's really hard to get out of our own head. Especially to do something nice for people. My grandma used to wash my clothes for me. Drove me up the wall. She was just being nice.

i prefer to do it anonamously. not because i'm ashamed or something, but because people get the message when there isnt an actual face giving it to them. they can decide free of judgment or fear of others judging them.
