"exit music (for a film)" is very poignant. radiohead is an awesome band that evokes a lot of things besides sex and drugs. that has to be one of my absolute favorite radiohead songs (exit music) besides the obvious "creep" that was the anthem of my junior high years.

Radiohead is the band that has smacked the whole music industry in their money grubbing faces and brought them to their knees. perfect example is Kid A the best album that has come out since dark side of the moon. Pure man handeled talent oozing from their souls.

where do we go from here the words are coming out all weird and where are you now? radiohead always remind me faces I wanna forget tomorrow I'm buying their new album and yeah pyramid song is the best I heard in there so far, by the way Amnesiacis like a collection of b-sides for kid A in my opinion

Amnesiac, as good as kid A? Damn right it is, and personally I believe that several of the songs should of been used on kid A so we didn't have to wait so long for them... but then I fell in love with "You And Whos Army" when it was first made available like 3 months before kid A was released. Anyway I know its not too much help to anybody really, but Radiohead are like playing a live gig at this very moment on the "later with jules holland show", they are as expected fantastic, so far the set is combining songs from Ok Computer through to Amnesiac, and its an hour long so you still have about 40 minutes of the show left if you were to see this now, well not the now when you read that, but the now as in when i wrote it, so hurry up, BBC 2 NOW.

Kid A (I'm not sure about the new one, have not heard it yet), I feel is a very private album. You can't sit down and appreciate it with other people. If someone asks you if you liked it, there is always a bit of hesitation. The album demands that you be in a dark room by yourself with a really good sound system. It acts on a very personal, almost 1 on 1 level with the listener and everyone takes away something different from it that is like their own special moment or something, that they don't like to share. This is what I have noticed anyway. But it takes alot of work and talent to make music that makes people react like that. I think Bach does it best, but Radiohead is a close second.

The sound slides in Down a gentle slope Pulsing erratically It slides and then Reaches a level Plane, and now there's A twist and the sound rides around in a circle Moving up and down On a carousel of Piercing tones that If they could create Any other type of force Then the melodic and Non-melodic shaking Of your eardrum They would They would poke small dents In you, and grab you by The arms and shake the life Into you, they would lift Your feet up and down They would shake your Head side to side And the sound is tricky Because it found a Way to administer this Force on at least someone And the someone Was the one who produced It in the first place.

Radiohead has the ability to touch almost every emotion that spins through your fragile little body on its way to its final resting place. Empty room with single bed: keeps me awake at night. Drugs drown out the awful pain, numbs the senses, dulls the fight. Doctor's black confessional Dims chances of a second go. Of getting back what I once lost, Of all that I once had to show. Depression takes its iron grip, My body's blood's turned sour Time for me to evacuate, This is my twilight hour. It's 4AM on Tuesday What a scary time to go, When everyone is fast asleep, When not a soul will know. I leave unnoticed in the night, And it doesn't feel so bad. No need to kick up any fuss, No need to feel sad. Betrayed by all I love, They left me far behind. Girlfriend makes with strangers, Lost friends I cannot find. Escape from life, escape from pain. Escape from all these things insane, escape from friends, escape from war, Escape from all that came before.
