Jazz Pianist Brad Meldhau did a great version of their tune "Exit Music (for a film)." I haven't heard the original but Meldhau's version is nice.

"exit music (for a film)" is very poignant. radiohead is an awesome band that evokes a lot of things besides sex and drugs. that has to be one of my absolute favorite radiohead songs (exit music) besides the obvious "creep" that was the anthem of my junior high years.

Radiohead is the band that has smacked the whole music industry in their money grubbing faces and brought them to their knees. perfect example is Kid A the best album that has come out since dark side of the moon. Pure man handeled talent oozing from their souls.

I find it ironic that with a name like that, they only have one song aired here and it's overplayed to the point that they won't play it live anmore. When all is said and done, they will be considered one of the best bands of all time. sorry, "creep" was on the radio just now.

There's this pernicious feeling creeping into theings that because everything is second-hand, and we're all so post-modern, that the only way to transcend this is to throw yourself to the lions, cut yourself up, or go on heroin. In order to mean it. I no longer feel that I have to prove that I mean it.

To hard on the breaks again What if these breaks just give in? What if they don’t get out of the way? What if there’s someone overtaking Going out for a little drive And it could be the last time i see you alive There could be an idiot on the road The only kick in life is pumping his steel Lock me up in the back of the trunk Packed with foam and blind drunk They won’t ever take me alive Cus they all drive Don’t die on the motorway The moon would freeze the plants would die I couldn’t cope if you crashed today All the things I forgot to say I’m out for a little drive And it could be the last time i see you alive There could be an idiot on the road The only kick in life is pumping his steel Lock me up in the back of the trunk Packed with foam and blind drunk They’ll wont ever take me alive Cus they all drive killer cars

Pyramid song. I jumped in the river, what did I see? Black-eyed angels swam with me A moon full of stars and astral cars All the things I used to see All my lovers were there with me All my past and futures And we all went to heaven in a little row boat There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt

where do we go from here the words are coming out all weird and where are you now? radiohead always remind me faces I wanna forget tomorrow I'm buying their new album and yeah pyramid song is the best I heard in there so far, by the way Amnesiacis like a collection of b-sides for kid A in my opinion

Amnesiac, as good as kid A? Damn right it is, and personally I believe that several of the songs should of been used on kid A so we didn't have to wait so long for them... but then I fell in love with "You And Whos Army" when it was first made available like 3 months before kid A was released. Anyway I know its not too much help to anybody really, but Radiohead are like playing a live gig at this very moment on the "later with jules holland show", they are as expected fantastic, so far the set is combining songs from Ok Computer through to Amnesiac, and its an hour long so you still have about 40 minutes of the show left if you were to see this now, well not the now when you read that, but the now as in when i wrote it, so hurry up, BBC 2 NOW.

my beautiful boy is going to be with me to experience them for the first time in august in chicago. because he knows how much they mean to me, he went out and bought all 5 albums and is listening to them to become more acquainted before he goes to see them. he says that way he can help me through my emotions easier.

Kid A (I'm not sure about the new one, have not heard it yet), I feel is a very private album. You can't sit down and appreciate it with other people. If someone asks you if you liked it, there is always a bit of hesitation. The album demands that you be in a dark room by yourself with a really good sound system. It acts on a very personal, almost 1 on 1 level with the listener and everyone takes away something different from it that is like their own special moment or something, that they don't like to share. This is what I have noticed anyway. But it takes alot of work and talent to make music that makes people react like that. I think Bach does it best, but Radiohead is a close second.
