Is it because I just don't want to or because I just can't? 001104 ... daxle It's not physically addictive in that it doesn't alter the receptors in your brain, but you can become dependent on it just as easily as you could become dependent on anything that was constantly in your life. People cling to habits because they become personal traditions- something that is permanent and predictable in your life. Humans have this ugly way of sticking with things, whether they are good or bad (which btw, I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with getting stoned), just because it is easier to stay the same than to change. 001105 ... klairchen Umn, are you sure about that daxle? My therepist says it takes 1 month to get rid of it all and another to get back to normal. I don't know what to think anymore. I get those moments almost daily and they are completely random. Other than that, it's harmless in comparison to alcohol and cocain. Alcohol and tobacco should be illegal. Legalize it! The reason pot is illegal is because in the late 1800's EVERYONE smoked it, most people were farmers and hillbillies, and it was all cool. AND THEN! Hemp started becoming more and more useable. But, right about this time the oil companies gained their money and power in the early 1900's, and the PLASTICS companies would have lost out on a lot of money (not to mention the Earth wouldn't be so polluted!) if people used hemp instead of plastic, as the two are very similar (or can be.) So...they hired a lot of people to lobby the government and make it illegal. The government launched a ridiculously stupid advertisment campain to dupe the public into thinking marijauna was this horrible narcotic.
