something that is permanent is only as much so as you let it be. time has a tendancy to wear through those who are idle in thought or action. like a rock that has been there 'forever', nothing escapes its own impending erosion.

you know, just when you start to feel stable.... BAM!!!! Foundations are shaken, memories depended on.... Forever is a mighty short time, so it seems. Because nothing is permanent. Hell, even my hair dye faded. So there.

a tattoo, perhaps, is permanence enough for me... but even that can be changed or adjusted. but never a name unless it is one that cannot escape you.

this is for all the ignorant girls out there. there's a girl in my ofice, while she is no teenager, is definately a scandal in her on right. but that's not her fault. what's her fault is her age, and despite that, she's in a 'situation'. i think she's old enough to know what choices are, but apparently she's just not making good ones. so kids, pay attention. bringing another human into this world is permanent. it will live longer than you. that means you are a parent FOREVER according to the term of your life. so next time you're getting it on, think about that, and make sure you're being responsible. otherwise, why the hell are you having sex? just for fun? then keep it clean. nothings fun about a teenage pregnancy. nothings fun about a mistake. nothing is fun about a life-changing, interruption that you dind't plan. but, if you're extremely young and trying to get pregnant, think about your current situation. does a child want to be born to you right now? probably not. don't take another person's choices away by being careless with yours. HIV is also permanent. And a hell of a lot less fun than a screaming child. WRAP IT UP! use some common sense. no one has to be in those situations, because we all have a choice. (some people have these of those things happen to them through no choice of their own, because they were victimized in some way, so realize i'm talking to the people that DO choose to be irresponsible - not them, ok?) just choose not to be stupid. it's not like we all don't know where babies come from. and it's not like any boy will like you more just beacuse you're putting out tonight. geez. you won't even remember his name in a few years, guarantted. no teenage guy will stay, and no teenage guy is important enough that you'd benefit at all if he did. really. that's my moan for the day. maybe. i only just got here, we'll see...

and i hope it won't be. the curls remind me of earlier years, when i looked more like my mother, when i couldn't laugh and learn and play without fear like now, so i throw myself into the novelty of mousses & gels, and try_not_to_look in the mirror too much

kids aren't always permanent... sometimes they don't last longer than their parents. just had some good friends lose their son. it was very sad going to the wake, but even more heartwrenching to see them standing there, smiling and laughing with the people and their fun memories of the kid, and all the while they were dying inside, crying out, why did he have to go?

Blather has no delete button. It endures nearly forever. It is nearly permanent. You can't undo words you wish you hadn't said. It is more like life in the real world, than the cyber world. Words that are remembered cannot be erased.

I know of only one instance where a blather_mistake has been removed. As far as I'm concerned it shall remain unreblathed.
