if it's my fault that i feel the way i do, no one else was important enough to effect me. no one else had any say in how i feel or react. so everything bad in my world is my fault. and everything good is mine too.

We pass it back and forth, through each kiss, each slamming door, each squeal of your breaks, each time you press your loins against my own in an attempt at pacifying me.

What is the point of blame, really? We can spend all the time in the world looking for people to blame for things that go wrong, but where does it get us. Does it matter whose fault it is? Why don't we forget about blaming, try to take responsibility for the things we are responsible for, and use our energy on looking for solutions. We have a limited amount of energy, and can't force others to truly take responsibility for things they choose to do -- why then don't we use that precious energy on trying to find those solutions? Blame makes us feel better for a while, I suppose, and there is a certain satisfaction in that, but does it ultimately get us where we want to go?

I don't like to see what it does to you when you tell me your faults, apologize and then keep on doing things you feel lousy for again and again. I see pain in your face and tears at your eyes which have no place between you and me, us. Why do bring destruction into our mix, don't you realize it makes me feel as though I'm not good enough for you? Don't you want as I want that between us should be our most positive, hopeful, paying attention selves? What ugliness have I done between us for you to want to hinder yourself, rob us during our limited hours together of the most exquisite feelings?
