so, stork, i need to plumb the depths of your knowledge for a minute... 1. what is your favorite joint lock? if neccessary and/or you're bored, draw a stick figure diagram in paint for the pictures account. tell a story about it if you have one. 2. what's the worst injury you've ever recieved? 3. do you believe that people have souls? 4. what's your favorite mixed drink recipe?

okay, my favorite joint lock would most likely be what is called in brazillian jiujitsu the kimura and in catch wrestling the double wristlock. i'd love to draw you one, but unfortunately i'm only good at abstract art. also, i'd be unduly boasting if i said i was so above everything that i'm ever really that bored. but i'll post pictures of one of my favorite grapplers who uses that move almost primarily doing it from a variety of angles. as for interesting stories...i taught my sister this move and a guy who knew her came up from behind her on the street and jokingly grabbed her and she dislocated his elbow and shoulder with it. i made that story up, but it is an interesting story about that joint lock. oh and wish me luck, i have a tournament tomorrow.

the worst injury i've ever received isn't the broken orbital, or the dislocated ankle, but the acute case of heartache when pj grendell moved away to new york in 8th grade before either of us could elaborate on the feelings for each other that each of us must've suspected and hoped for ever since third grade but doubted too much to act on. What really hurt was afterwards everyone telling me how much she had liked me. It must've really hurt her that I went out with her best friend at the time merely because i thought pj could never see me as anything but a brother.

dear god, if there is a god, save my soul, if i have a soul.....hmmm....i don't know...depends on what you mean by soul. I believe the classical western definition of soul has a couple of components to it and that much of what it refers to exists both in my conception of things and the popular conception of things. In terms of being the conditionable essence of a person that can be stained or saved, really that notion has merely been replaced by personality, the collection of the desires and beliefs and actions of an individual, the sum of their various weights. And frankly i don't know if a spectrum of neurosis is anymore of a useful way to effect human change than the old way of right and wrong when priests were the psychotherapists and our minds were not sent into an abyss looking for the user illusion constantly, looking for more and more awareness always. As for the other component of the soul, the conscience, the presence, the feeling of choice and the ability to always have done otherwise that would become central to existentialism, this is a little bit more complicated. In the classical conception of things, this was tied to rationality but not limited by it. I do believe there is a part of our brain that looks at all decisions as arbitrary at a certain level, just so we are aware enough of choice to research our choices as well as possible, but i do not see why this cannot be a part of the mind and see no need to posit any supernatural cause of it. this does not mean i do not believe in the supernatural, after all, what i feel and believe isn't always based on what i've learned in books, but a lot of it is on the hunches and wishful thinking that characterizes a lot of humanity's basic strategy. dualism is a problem though, as how a non-material soul interacts with a material body is problematic. it's like casper going through walls but holding up objects. and yet, i do not know what causes consciousness. it is a profound enough problem for me to not rule out much. though we are supposedly electricity and blood and atoms, something in the organization or something else imbues upon us a subjective quality, although there is no reason to think that we are unique in a subjective experience just because one isn't communicated to us by other forms of life. still, there is nothing in our current understanding of component parts that says why or where consciousness arises. i think sometimes that whole safe bet thing of...if i do have a soul, i might as well not sully it since the cost of doing so if there is unseen consequences is greater than the benefits of acting as if i don't have one in this lifetime. nah i don't really believe that...i guess i believe in a more non-traditional soul...like....though it is twisted up in our personalities, it really is that consciousness central to sentient beings, and that it exists on its own at some level, enjoying in each lifetime a few uncluttered moments when it is connected to its source. haha...just kidding what nonsense! here our my real thoughts on souls...as qouted from tom petty who writes damn good soul music for agnostics...."let's have a cheer for all those bad girls and the boys that play that rock and roll, they love it like you love jesus, it does the same thing to their souls"

and if you can't take your liqour straight, i'd say a boilermaker or a black and tan. i know those aren't what most consider mixed drinks but that's my style anyhow. if i'm out with friends i guess i get a jack and coke to conform, though i don't like to drink as it keeps me from the one true path. my friends seem to enjoy it quite a bit when i drink however.

what's your regimen when you're dropping weight? and what weight do you wrestle, and how tall are you? sorry for all the wrestling pokes, dated the cap'n of the wrestling team through high school and it still kinda fascinates me. hate pro wrestling, love the real stuff. and how the heck did you get the name stork daddy?

well...i put myself on a strict regimen of baked beans and ham which i call the cowboy diet. you will lose vast amounts of body weight...but it won't be pretty. nah...i tend to start early as opposed to the last minute cutters. i find that if you start early you tend to hit a wall at about 12 days because your metabolism has slowed down so much you don't lose weight by starving and don't have the energy to exercise. so really i just eat jamba juice, vegetables and salmon for about a month while exercising till i throw up at least once a day. rinse and repeat. i now compete (in jiujitsu or muay thai or anything else) anywhere from 147 to 160 lbs. and am a towering 5'7'' inches tall. i wear a c cup and my penis is....beautiful. anyways...i don't get to compete as avidly as i'd like to what with all of the crap i keep doing because it's what i'm supposed to do like study etc. but i'm getting back into it again. and i'm sure i can make time if you want to roll. i mean, i'm still a young man....oh and stork daddy, stork daddy....well as for the stork part, i guess i didn't get it because of my build...and i don't deliver babies, or eat frogs. sometimes my eyes seem piercing and birdlike, but why particularly a stork? well i guess i got it the same way i got the name king kong NINJA. i hope that helps.

oh i forgot...a big part of my regimen is listening to the russian national anthem or antonio inoki's theme song. also running up hills with my fat friends on my back. yes all of them. and the daddy part of my name is because unfortunately at this point in my life, i am my own father! now for my cryptic unfinished consciousness/soul thoughts: is every lego a castle? or does the castle emerge from legos? okay that was a bad one....sorry

firstly mistree i don't get enough nutrition, secondly a jamba juice is a brand of fruit smoothie they sell in and around the bay area and other california locations. it's very good for you, and even better when you spike it with coconut rum. cupcake. no i'm not healthy. yes it is mentally difficult. that's why i'm insane. on a side note...recently i was getting choked and blood vessels popped in my eye. i wish i had a webcam, it's really quite nasty looking. the whites of my eye are red. but i got out...and that's what matters.

have you ever thought of collecting your snippets and publishing them? something in the style reminds me of rollins or gira, these snapshots. i think they would read well in such a form. you should publish. do it now. will you?

i agree with time_warp. i believe the rollins they refer to is henry_rollins, of black_flag fame. he started his own publishing company, put out a number of books that i think you would rather like. he's a very mentally strong individual but still feels very deeply and expresses it well. _the portable rollins_ is a good place to start. seriously. your works are incredibly evocative, especially much of the stuff from werewolf. i'll shower you with praises on particular examples if you like. but i think it would publish well. i'd pay money for it. hell, if i had the means, i would publish it meself. uh oh... need a question... um... if i can get my camera back, will mountains do instead of an ocean? that whole middle of corn thing and all...

i usually get the jamba powerboost because it comes with the jamba multi-boost. of course i'm also partial to the protein pizazz. my favorite as far as flavor goes is the berry lime sublime. of course the mango and peach ones are nice too. they're all so wonderful. fruit as fast food. who would've ever thought've that? it's like having a delicious fruit tree right within your reach. well that and a blender.
