Although I have never managed to. Everyone that tells me they read Harry Pottersaid it was great. I can imagine the movies might soul the experience for some people. Sometimes books are better left as a book. There are so many books though that would make great movies, 'Birdsong' for example. Writers that have a great ability to describe perfectly an atmosphere. It would definitely help, when coming to write the screenplay. I think tit would be worth writing a list of authors that are specifically good at this, along with writing a good story.

I do think the Harry Potter books might be better than the movies. Somebody should make a really descriptive book into a visually detailed movie. Could take all day to shoot 10 seconds, and the movie an 8 parter. Could be brilliant. Could be worth it. I would get sidetracked unless somebody reminded me with venture capital, though. But I personally have no business making movies, too late for that, trashed. Low energy mutt, against magic, spells, & damage. Haven’t read Birdsong yet.
