satanangel If every second of our lives recurs an infinite number of times, we are nailed to eternity as Jesus Christ was nailed to the cross. It is a terrifying prospect. In the world of eternal return the weight of unbearable responsibility lies heavy on every move we make. That is why Nietzsche called the idea of eternal return the heaviest of burdens (das schwerste Gewicht).
If eternal return is the heaviest of burdens, then our lives can stand out against it in all their splendid lightness.
But is heaviness truly deplorable and lightness splendid?

There is no means of testing which deciosn is better, because there is no basis for comparison. We live everything as it comes, without warning, like an actor going on cold. And what can life be worth if the first rehearsal for life is life itself? That is why life is always like a sketch. No, “sketch” is not quite the word, because a sketch is an outline of something, the groundwork for a picture, whereas the sketch that is our life is a sketch for nothing, an outline with no picture.
Einmal ist keinmal, says Tomas to himself. What happens but once, says the German adage, might as well not have happened at all. If we only have one life to live, we might as well not have lived at all.

me infinity can exist in finite time intervals. The human mind is capable of perceiving the world at a rate of time relative to the amount of frames perceived in a given time (like a camera). a fly can perceive the world in slow motion comparitively to ours due to their need for hightened sensory attention necessary for there quick changes in direction. When you fall over its as though time slows down. due to your response to danger you gain heightened sensory perception making time appear to slow down ie more information is being processed taking longer for it to be perceived. When your busy time flys when your not it drags. the rate of time alters at any given perception. The universe can only be spacially infinite if time is infinite.
you could go in a rocket to the moon. As you become closer to the moon you become more distant from the earth but never at any point in time or space do you become closer or further to the ends of the universe. If the universe was to end (if it was finite) then there would exist an exterior. Just because the earth is so big does not go to say there is nothing beyond it. Ive always wondered where the end of the universe is. Ive always wanted to know how long time was and if it had any length at all. I say that but that wasnt what I was thinking when I ate my breakfeast this morning. But I have wondered of the thought provoking concepts of the universe, but not when i was eating my breakfeast. I suppose i think different things all the time. I suppose i perceive the world differently at different times. I suppose I am a different perceiver at times. who was i before i was born? who am i after i die? who was i last year? who am i next year?
Who was i ten minutes ago? who will i be in ten minutes? Who was i one second ago? who will i be in a second? who was i 0.1 seconds ago? who will i be in 0.1 seconds? The universe is infinite and so is one self. Infinite possibilities, infinite "I"s. in a given time, consider 1 second, it can be split into infinite time intervals. it can be divided by 2 intervals, 3 intervals, 4 intervals, 5, 6, 70 , 80000, 900000000 etc. If the universe was infinite and there was a 1 in a 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 chance of there being other planets with life on then you can guarantee there A LOT of planets with life on!
We are to busy looking into the future and the past its about time we look at the most important point in our lives, now. Now has already become the past and already become the future. now has no length yet we exist in it. i cant be arsed to keep chatting on cos i dont actually know where im going with this so ill just say that everything has happened in an instant and we perceive it as a life time.

flowerock zip your mind and open your heart, quiet the mind, listen to your hearts.

We are like babies and infinity is just above us.

our bodies are comodities.

dr_sha she reccomended.

she looks like a soldier in the jungle and speaks like a teacher, a leader, with confidence and love and a little tiny bit of crazy. but what is crazh but the unrelatable. I felt her love, however true/sane/crazy her words, she spoke the truth as she knew it with love and sincerty. she said she was on a healing journey, with her backpack and cardboard and crutches, "I won over cancer three times" she said.

She apologized for talking so long, I thanked her and told her I felt the warmth in her words. Her lit up and she said "good" and walked away.

It was such a good experience listening to her reality and message. It warmed my heart and boosted my desire to live well and kind and as a strong spirit and body the body will folliw the spirit and the spirit will stay in the body as long as it can stand, because the spirit can stay strong and keep growing, but the body eventually stops growing. I am caught off guard.
