...so at 4:44 this morning i woke up to the sound of thunder and the flash of lightning...i felt quite content...i opened the blinds a little to look out and see the rain, and he moved over to me and put his arms around me...and we just layed all cuddled up with the sound of the thunder all around us...we have our moments i suppose...

above, below, and all around it ricochets off of the walls pelting the roof with its ferocity and yet it feels like summer and home and childhood strangely comforting

2 weeks ago I saw the greatest show nature had to offer and I wasn't even afraid. I owe it all to him and his fascination with the crashing choruses and the brush strokes of mother nature in the skies. For the first time I stood outside and watched in awe as chaos danced before my eyes and screamed into my ears. I'm finally over my fear, and I see what he sees.

notice how great thunderstroms smell? when you step outside just after a severe storm, and the air smells so pure, and you can almost taste it, the sweetness in the air

rages the eternity! i swim in miles, forgotten, roll and sink trading influence and the green sky lives flash moments dark of cloud drag rain that ripples and waves across striking now and now and now endless of reach and pull as beach inches and surges at my salty face and stops

july has been a month of storms. beautiful. i love the payne's gray, slate blue, green sky that filters and reflects light down on everything. i love the way the air becomes tangible, like walking through infinite invisible silk curtains. i love breathing the ionic charge. i love the growls and the sustained basso profundo drones and the crisp staccato accents and the quick descending glissandos. and the echos, bouncing off of the world it's self. and of course i love the fist big drops, almost skin warm and scattered. and than the rain. i love the rain (not only because it is not snow). i love the waves, falling, and the bouncing splashes and the way it rolls on my hair and skin. i love storms. they make me feel like a little kid.
