Then reread it (I know, reworking sucks, but it's the only way to write well). Change any words that didn't quite say what you wanted. Shorten/tighten whenever possible. Use cool words and metaphors if you can. Decide if you have a point. To entertain? Ok, is it entertaining? To inform? Well, first of all, is anyone listening? Or is it just drunken ranting?
