Nestling here amongst the sumptuous gardens of Tewkesbury_hall, the palatial eighteenth century mansion built by Lord Tewkesbury the thirteenth marquis of blather , lies its crowning glory: the blathermaze. Its eight-hundred yards of the extremely rare blue box hedge, tended by fourteen generations of the Wilty family are over ten feet high and two feet thick forming a labyrinth of the marquis’ own devious design. It is confusing, difficult to navigate and many people have become lost in its pathways yet those who are willing to explore its twisted logic have found delight and wonder along the way. Now what does that remind you of?
Above the archway that forms the entrance to the maze is a sign which reads:
ABANDON RATIONAL THOUGHT ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE
