mudvayne devotchka have any of you heard music by mudvayne? i don't understand a majority of the lyrics, but i really like the music. 010417 ... silentbob this is my mudvayne story I went to see the weakerthans for the second time in January. The show was above The Quest Club in Minneapolis. Outside the hall there was a huge line of fuckin gothic kids with lots of pericings and spikes and angry faces and slipknot tshirts. around the line is a scattered group of individuals wearing sweaters and scarves. So we get to the top of the stairs, where the Weakerthans are playing with Motion City SOundtrack and some other bands. The Ascott Room. Below us in The Quest Club, Mudvayne is playing. And between every soft beautiful weakerthans song you can hear all this screaming and chanting of the Fword. and John K Samson of the weakerthans said, "Thers some scary metal going on next door....just an observation." and the bassplayer before they started screamed, "WE'RE FUCKIN SLIPKNOT!" It was a great moment. 010417 ... kinkazoid i actually met mudvayne many times. its sorta weird cuz we dont have that close of a connection..ill tell you about it: my best friend(not anymore though...bitch) has this brother, he is dating this girl, this girl has a sister, this sister is dating i think the basest or something. so the guy invited his girlfriend, she invited her sister, she invited her boyfriend, he invited his sister, and she invited me to a party at his house where we hung with the band. we went back the next weekened, and the next...for about 2 monthes, then me and that girl stopped being friends. sorta sad it is... 010531 ... deadinside they kick ass. Because there is no meaning to it. They sing of love, of "will you be my girlfriend?" of haveing whatever the fuck they want. Bands like korn, fear factory, TOOL, slipknot and mudvayne say how they feel and they make it damn strait. I have very much respect for them to, if you can have one hell of a band and then be able to write about your feelings, emotions and what has happend to you and others, then fucking you will be respected. But we have our opinions, just say them or keep them to yourselves.
