Ok peeps, I can't take this one any longer. There is no such word (or phrase) as NOONE - it's NO ONE (as in nobody). Got it? Ok? Thank you. Carry on :-) ³

Well, yeah... Wouldn't "noone' be pronounced, [NOON]? Just wondering. 'Cause I think so... But 'no one', as in 'not one person', most certainly does exist, as more than just a common phrase. There's no hyphen though... I can't believe ther is somone out there, who is so anal, that this bothers him/her. No one I know would give half a fuck. Maybe that's why I tell you kids all my secrets...

it pisses me off whenever I see grammatical / spelling errors. it puts me off the content of the passage, and distracts me.

haha! i saw this on the recent page, and was thinking what cube already said. typos are one thing - you recognize that they're spelled wrong. but some people really don't know how to spell, and they don't care. if someone made it to college - like my friend nicole, who spells beer, 'bere'; guy, 'gye'; and basically confuses every homonymous word known to the english language - he/she will get by. despite such tragedies like, 'they're was a bere in that gyes fridge', i'm just so proud of her for putting the apostrophe in the right place. baby steps...

it bothers me too. not that i'm really anal about grammer or spelling. but when i'm reading and i come across "noone" i mentally register it as sounding like "noon" and it really shakes up my groove. then i'm like "oh thats no one! okay . . . " ...
