The Truth This petition is in protest to all forms of cancer, the cancer industry, and even those who advertise cancer producing products (Magazines, Television Programs, etc.). Various consumer watchdog groups have done their part in educating us about the causes of cancer, (such as smoking and chemical food additives), and deterents as well, (such as exercise and proper diet).

But people are still buying...and dieing.

We need to take stonger action! Take a stand against the cancer industry: (Tobacco, Oil, Pharmeceutical, and all companies owned by these giants!)

How can I take a stand, you ask? Simple boycotts, like these below, that's how!

-SEND EMAIL! Forward this email to as many people as you want. It's the simplest action you can take, and it will have the greatest effects. The more people that read this message, the more likely a member of the Cancer Industry will lose money!

-Thumb through magazines before purchasing them, if they contain cancer advertisements from any of the companies listed below, simply do not buy the magazine. Or..cancel your subscription and tell them why you're doing it!

-If you are watching television, and you see a commercial for KRAFT, for instance, since they are owned by a Tobacco Giant, simply change the channel. Or better yet, turn off the tv and do something constructive!

-Call your local State Representatives and tell them that if they want your vote in the next election, they had better support these anti-cancer protests.

-Write letters to lawmakers, Corporations, Television networks, advertising agencies.

-SEND EMAIL to all of the above, it's faster and less expensive than writing letters and making phone calls. But can still produce the same results.

In our society MONEY IS POWER! (Or so it is perceived.)
We, as consumers in a capitalist society, can control that power by choosing where we spend our hard earned dollars! That is the most important and powerful action you can take. If these cancer industry members and supporters receive less money as a result of this protest, they will have less power. This will make them weaker, and easier to shut down permanently.

Here are some people that should recieve this message. Forward a copy of this email to the following people.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please do your simple part in forwarding this message to as many people as possible.

John Wayne Hey son. I can understand you getting all excited what with that bee floating around in your bonnet but you're more likely to get hit with a bucket of horseshit than a shower of approval if you use this place as a campaign platform. Just some friendly advice pardner. 010607

The Truth You may be the first...you won't be the last, "pardner". 010607

Dafremen You mention tobacco products and chemical food additives. Unfortunately those two causes together don't even come close to the amount of cancer caused by RF radiation in the environment. Think about it. Every day there are thousands of radio transmitters being used all around you. Cell phones, monitors, CB's, Radio and TV Stations. Every single transmission is passing right through your body. Every day. All of these sources emit radiation. Now they may tell you that the doses of radiation are too small to harm us. That only explains why we don't die from the IMMEDIATE effects of this ambient radiation. However the rapid increase in the number of reported cancer or cancer-type cases only started in this century. Coincidentally so did the rise of electrical energy and radio use. IF you're going to protest cancer and you don't protest ambient radiation, you're only trying to chop the branches of cancer down, not the tree. 010607

Sol um, perhaps, if you are seriously proposing to spread this email, i would suggest making it less USA specific (i.e. drop the 'state stuuf')

oh yeah, and Cancer rates rising does not take into account the increase in medical awareness, more cancers are being diagnosed, as they are understood and recognised more widely, this includes 'cancers' that are not neccessarily malignant, or that would have passed unseen and another cause of death/illness been attributed to it in the past

The Truth YES!! Thank you Dafremen!! And that's not all...there are so many other causes (like pesticides)..we need to list them here so we can add them to the final draft.

I believe there are alternatives to these carcinogens. We are technologially advanced enough to heal this planet, and society. Of only we could get past the greed factor...

The Truth Ok, Sol...good input. I did try to do that...I guess I forgot a couple things...I originally had things like "American Dollars" and "USA". Then my feeble little mind realized that there ARE indeed other countries too!
:D (but I bet my country caused all of your country's cancer!)

The Truth Not to mention the skin cancer soon to be inflicted on all of the world due to depletion of the O-zone layer thanks 25% (or more) to USA.

But let's not get too far off topic!
We have a world to save!

Dafremen You're getting too GREEN for me Truth, I might end up bailing on this whole project. I'm NOT gunna be one of those people that thinks that a single oil well in the middle of 50 million acres is going to hurt the ecology. I believe in a compromise between conservation and industry. (Figures huh? Sto0pid Libra!)

If you wanna turn this into a Sierra Club/Greenpeace Jamboree, that's YOUR business. However, if it's too much of a tree-huggin bunny squeezin good time, you'll hafta hold it minus one Roger Dafremen.

The Truth This is about cancer...we can save the environment later! Just because there is ignorant names for people who care doesn't mean that people who care are ignorant.

Alright STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE!

Rhin one thing you might want to consider next is going after the insurance companies. in the United States, most insurance companies will not pay for routine blood work or CT scans. there has to be cause for the effect to happen. cancer is more curable when it is diagnosed and treated EARLY. scientists, physicians, cancer awareness groups lead you to believe that they are beginning to kick a little cancer ass. however, most (but not all) of the people that you see still alive and kicking and able to participate in those 'i survived cancer walk-a-thons' are only alive because their cancer was caught while it was still early or in stage 1. that's great! that means the awareness is out there...people are taking care of themselves and voicing concerns to their physicians when they arise. however, it can be very difficult to diagnose cancer early if you show no signs of the disease, and if your physician sees no reason to order up blood work. what happens to those people? they end up fighting a battle they probably have no or very little chance of winning. and if they do win, sometimes the cancer returns again and again and again. also, by blood work i mean the full enchilada...red cell counts & white cell counts specifically, among other type of testing. only if you or your physician recognizes a problem will he order these labs. they are expensive. a full work up can begin anywhere around approx. $400. insurance will not pay for this labwork if it is not deemed necessary and/or referred by your physician, and sometimes not even then. so, many people cannot afford this, thus will not have them done. would you? i don't know about you, but i cannot afford to have labs bi-annually or even annually. i do now anyway because i know what the consequences could be if i didn't. i spend alot of money every year having this done. my physician thinks i'm nuts for shelling out this money, because he sees no problem. he didn't see a thing wrong with my husband either! insurance carriers should offer annual or bi-annual full workup labs as part of the package and/or CT scans. this should be mandatory for all insurance carriers. cancer takes lives every single day. my husband did not have any symptoms, no noticeable lumps, and no pain, until it was too late. he was already stage 3 (stage 1: localized, stage 2: spreads to the lymph nodes, stage 3: spreads beyond the lymph nodes to remote sites in the body, attacking organs, etc.) when diagnosed and given 1 year to live. he had the most nearly totally curable (if caught early) cancer there is...Testicular Cancer. if not diagnosed and treated early, it is aggressive and life-threatening, with a tendency to spread widely. upon diagnosis, the cancer was in my husband's right testicle, lymph nodes, lungs, stomach, abdomen, and intestines. the attending physicians and surgeons just sat down defeated and simply said 'there is no good way to say this, but it's everywhere' he lived exactly one more year to the day after diagnosis. if he had been offered bi-annually, annual lab or CT scan options, he would have had them because he was health-oriented, and would have wanted them. he had even asked our physician about a full lab workup before and the physician just blew it off saying that it's so expensive and insurance will not cover it, and besides i see nothing wrong with you. because it's something that is not easily affordable, it's easily over-looked, and other financial priorities in life take the lead, especially if you feel healthy and have no concern to be alarmed. trying to get an insurance company to pay for anything is like pulling teeth, and even when they are required to pay to fulfill their end of the financial obligation they try every which way to weasel out of it. i'm sick of insurance carriers not living up to their end of the bargain. one of my friend's worked for an insurance company and she said there general rule was to deny every claim that came in at least up to 3 times, then after that it was a matter of how much they could get away with not paying since they were being forced to pay at all. she said they were trained to look for any loopholes, etc. what a bunch of sh*t! it does happen almost fairly accurately the way she described by many insurance carriers. they forget that the money they hold onto so tightly belongs to us. my husband had a primary insurance carrier and a secondary. it has been a long battle with them. yes, i am still fighting them after 3 fucking years. what hurts the most is that not one of them has a fucking heart, or even realizes that the people they talk to are human. if they did, then they would not call here and ask to speak to my husband. i always reply 'my husband is dead. you should know, because you killed him!' that usually shuts them up. it's mean-hearted, but hey, i have to strike back at someone and i feel they deserve alot of my anger. my husband might still be here, or he might not, but at least he would have had a fucking fighting chance!!! FUCK YOU GODDAMN LIFE-SUCKING WARTS ON THE NOSE OF HUMANITY INSURANCE COMPANIES!!! 021113
