i don't know shit about html, but i trust what kss was saying about how all of this testing is what's clogging the works. if, in fact, this is the case - and i'm sure those doing the testing would be likely to know this as well - then why do you continue to do it? remember, blather is bunches of words, not bunches of you practicing your programming skills. as much as i can't stand daffy, i simply shut up and either ignore or try to find grains of truth in his diarrhea of the keyboard, but that's because he's not fucking up the mechanics of the site. white screens and not being able to write when i please really suck. if it is not the testers' fault, then i apologize, otherwise CUT IT THE FUCK OUT! _ferchrissakes.

All right, yes,

But here is the important part that everyone keeps missing:
"...but really it's an experiment to see what shape this will take when left at your mercy."
That's all blather really is, one giant test to see what happens when you give people a utopian society where everyone is equal and the power is held by the people. An expiriment to see how people react when they are given access to the thoughts and souls of dozens of real people, a place where whatever they say will be not only heard but marked in history.
All blather is a test, if you look around deep enough you'll see that this place is nothing But html code.
We have just as much right to test the waters with code as you have to test the waters with your thoughts and feelings. In fact, I bet you it isn't the code that is destroying blather, blather is just depressed and suicidal.
If you can't stand the blather_white_screen, why don't you just go to red?

if you read my blathes, you'll see that i almost never get involved in the politics here. (see above for reason.) in this instance, however, i simply have to assert that you are wrong. i'm not going to give grand explanations, for you would just refute them. call it a cop out for my saying, "because i said so." i claim no absolute knowledge or power, but instinctively some things are just plain stupid. there are no laws in blather, but we should be able to recognize certain boundaries. before humanity developed systems of laws and rules, a person would probably still get the shit beaten out of them for killing without cause.

what you're doing is analogous to a child swinging from the kitchen cabinet doors, breaking them, when there's a wonderful swingset in the yard, with all manner of ropes, hinges, swivels, barrels, etc. you are the child then complaining that mom and dad are stifling your creativity. also, you are that child saying that the doors are breaking themselves because they are depressed.
