I use to live in Houston, or should I say moved around a lot in Houston, never lived any wear for longer than a year and a half, we never really unpacked kuz I mean heck we knew we'd just be moving again and its always a pain in the @$$ to get every thing back in the boxes. I really miss moving az much az we use too but I would much rather be here than back there, even if the cows far out populate the human residents that reside here, az boring az it iz I @ lest feel safer here than I ever did in Houston, hell every one here iz far too stupid to do anything half az bad az what goes on in Houston, and bc of that the school iz a lot more lax, meaning I don’t have to wear either a uniformed dress or slacks and a belt w/ some kind of regulated school uniform shirt to school, I don’t have to have my back pack searched az I enter school, I don't have to go though a metal detector either, and I can wear a head band w/o any one fearing that I've hidden a razor under it. I mean ya this place haz its draw backs, Like there’s no one decent to talk to here, nor anything to do here, and every one haz there nose firmly implanted some one else’s business but I fig hay you gota give a lil to get a lil.

(and bland suburbs)
it's like hell as designed by the architects who build shopping malls and taco bells
concrete and
that godawful styrofoam, chickenwire and stucco construction
it's a giant heat-trap that bakes away the stormclouds to the point that the inner part of the city gets almost no rain in the summer while the bland suburbs get drenched
i would trade this dust covered place for the sweaty summers in reach of the gulf
or for a place with a real winter

Wait. No I did NOT just read someone say "Indiana Represent" the mere juxtaposition of the state (Indiana) and the word that in hip hop argot means to boldly and proudly and with a certain militant and abrasive joi de vive let them know where YOU FROM...is ah well a bit jarring. Now I have been mistaken many many times and perhaps there is a thriving hip-hop culture and inner city population somewhere in Indiana. I'm not speaking about suburban dilletants who w/o any galvanizing or noble or inspiring vein or mine to be fed from either in their homes, or cultural experience that is bereft of a symbol or instatiation of something a young person pining for something to hang his/her visceral disdain for the effete "establishment" culture of their parents and teachers and other symbols of a meritless authority structure. The armor of shadows fits rather nicely over the then post-prepubescent soul writhing out of the crib of childhood and experiencing the painful death of it's innocense. Adroitly staged postures of disafection and whatever else it is felt approximates real sociopathic desperate, soul wrapped in steel and a galaxy of fire behind the eyes and in the heart bravado of baddest most inpenitent gangstahs who represent in their lawlessness, brutality, misogyny the apotheosis of what is romantically referred to and aspired to as "Thug Life"... So yeah to me represent conjures up brutal brutal sodomy in a prison shower kind of shock to your system, graphic in your face kind of authentic take no prisoners representations of a culture and a punishing exacting community where the "bad ass" was spawned, sired, broken and built back up neglected and used his own ingenuity to navigate the daily crucible of existence.
