I now live 25 miles from there...on a farm. The nearest town is more like a village. It has no stop lights. I am surrounded by corn, soy beans, and pigs. I look forward to moving to Minneapolis. Sure, it's still cold in the winter, but there'll be things to do. The downside of the cities-there aren't as many trees and parks. I'll miss Call Park, but I can always come back. Iowa, no matter what, will always be "home." It's where I've grown up. A friend of mine has these lyrics of one of his songs.
