niska fat... :P

five pounds of water doesn't make you fat. any more than that - switch brands.

i use depo when i'm in a relationship - otherwise, i use nothing and abstain. seriously folks, they don't call it 'family planning' for no reason. it's work avoiding the possibility of a family. and for god sakes, no matter what, don't neglect the condoms until you've been to the doctor together, PLEASE. birth control isn't freaky, it's common sense. it's responsible. is this guy forver? well, a child certainly is... i can't imagine what in the world i would have to contribute to any growing human life at this stage in mine. and having some 'dad' around that i won't be in love with two years from now ('cause i'm in NO hurry to find mr. right, just yet) just isn't an appealing thoght.

i wish more of the girls who appear on Montel would think about this BEFORE the paternity test becomes necessary. less unwanted children in this world would be a blessing. more born out of love would be a miracle.

HAHA! tidying your room... exactly!

sanguineous i have been on and off it since i was 16. but have recently been sort of analyzing the idea of it. (since med school.) sort of don't like the idea that a tinly little baby tylenol sized pill fools your body into thinking it's pregnant by secreting all sorts of hormones. so i stopped for a while.

i didn't really gain weight while on it, but i did lose what little boobs i had when i stopped. and my skin sucks now. along with 'that time' of the month. never got cramps on that damn pill. so now.

should i go back? should i pay the meesley $15 a month to keep the babies away? maybe. because i don't think it's fair bringing a kid into the world these days. a little more thought perhaps.

numbed the pain of a dying heart
smote with so many blows
tired of hanging on
too scared to let go

the tongue is empty
the heart is hollow
glassy eyes reflecting every fear
silent whispers screaming
ripping away everything he holds dear

Farool So why do you take it when you're sixteen?

Unless you're macking at that age.

Which doesn't make sense.

Well, if you're on the pill does that mean that you are macking?

j i recently got off the_pill & i have an appointment to get an iud.

i am just so relieved to no be mood swinging, not be irritated all the time, have depression & anxiety, have to take something every night. ridiculous!

...
j "i've been having these dizzy spells, i'm angry & depressed for no_reason, and i'm mood swingy. i hate being like this!"

"that is all the pill. it makes your body think you're pregnant so you don't ovulate. it's funny because you don't even need to take it!"

"what do you mean?"

"well, i can tell you what you need to know."

"you mean how to get by without anything?"

"yes."

"well, tell me."

"the day you have your period is always always two weeks after you ovulate. so you can figure out exactly how your cycle is based on that. now that you know when you ovulate, you know when you can have sex without using anything."

"how?"

"when you ovulate, your body releases an egg. once the egg is released, it has to be fertilized within a short amount of time - say, 24 to 48 hours. after that, there is nothing to fertilize. so you can have sex 24 to 48 hours after you ovulate and not get pregnant.
"sperm can live up to seven days, so if you have sex before your ovulation, you are basically asking for one to meet up with another when the egg is released."

"so i don't really need to take anything?"

"no - nothing."
070329
...
jane "the problem is, though, most women's bodies aren't like clockwork, and it is difficult if not impossible to map out a cycle if it's irregular.
