intelligence
human Intelligence can be found in great abundance in a very hostile area. Case in point, Israel and Palestine. Two very education centered religions. Knowlegde is prized and praised. Yet they cannot settle their own differences. If they cannot what hope do we poor stupid infidels have? 010308

dB I think Ben Elton was right. Look at, let's say, the Aboriginals of Australia. They were there for 40,000 years or so, and did not achieve anything other than to live in complete harmony with their surroundings, surviving in conditions that even the US military would not hang around for very long in because it was so dangerous. Yet, the europeans have only been there for 156 years or so and have managed to fuck up many things and cause heaps of damage to the country.

Maybe, you need to be very, very smart -like the Abos, Native Americans, Maori, the native people of New Guinea, Samoa and so on - Very smart indeed, just no NOT fuck things up.

screwing for virginity You never see animals going through the absurd and often horrible fooleries of magic and religion. Only man behaves with such gratuitous folly. It is the price he has to pay for being intelligent but not, as yet, too intelligent.

minnesota_chris who majored in International Relat I just heard on public radio, an "intelligence" agent (code named Jack!) who was talking about Osama Bin_Laden. Here's a quote from him:

(in a macho, action movie voice) "Bin Laden's got the money, and he's got the resources to use that money..."

Why do we have this eggplant on the radio, and why do we have such macho sausageheads working in the department that we call intelligence?

Lemon_Soda No such thing.

Only retained information.

Every person has had different experiences. Every bit of "intelligence" you have has come from the observation of an occurance or the word of another person.

Both of these are unsound sources of information.

No occurance occurs at the same time nor under the same circumstances.

Information passed on by another individual to you is suspect to misinterpretation. Also, THEIR source was either observation or passed information.

Nothing is absolute save that nothing is absolute, and I'm not even sure about that.

Any eveidence to the contrary is spawned by opinion and coincidence.
030917
...
User24 where did the first piece of information come from, then? something either came from nothing once, and was so massive that we still haven't exhausted the observaions and opinions, or we are constantly creating something from nothing, with influences of previous creations, which I think is more likely.

as to intelligence, you first must define it, before you can argue about it's existence, and any definition is also a constriction, so we are doomed from the onset. (I'll have a go if you want, though)

Norm I have an IQ of 139. I learn more enthusiasticly without a teacher. Specifics, like dates and names, bore me but I absorb them like everything else, for communications sake. As a part of the hive I would be mediocre. I am an individual. I would thrive as a rebel or a criminal. 040201

anniemo23@hotmail.com I still go to that secluded dock.
Remember when we would walk through the woods,
Stepping in mud and rocks knowing the docks view, with the
Moonlight and quietness is going to be totally worth it.
Sometimes, you’d run ahead and hide in the woods and jump
Out at me when I passed by or you would stalk me and I’d be scared, just a little.
Both always stoned and laughing. “You two love each other so damn much!” the people would say, and we’d listen if we weren’t busy with each other.

We’d sit Indian style on the dock, even tho there were benches, you’d always sayChairs are for people that lie, truth tellers kinda sit anywhere.” You’d take out the baggy and I’d roll the perfect fatty. I always let you light first and take a few drags. I love watching you smoke, almost had a sexual implication to it. Or maybe it was just that I loved everything you did. Manwe’d get so bombed out there. So high we thought we were god. You’d spoke in poetic aphorisms as we watched the nightly ducks land on the smooth icey black waters causing the huge lake to ripple. Stoned and loving it. All of it. We’d always watch the stars.. hoping to see a shooting star, we usually did. Making sweet slow love for the world to watch. Moon beams and nights blanket of darkness wrapped around us.

Was it all a lie? I don't care if it was. I loved everything about us. And now that we aren’t even together, I’d have say it was damn cool to have met Him

I really liked him. I cant forget him. I tried but I failed

As I sit here writing a poem a high school forlornly girl would write, but its cool. We all had loves like this.

Its good to know of such loves like these. It sets up what you really want from a person.
And I hope that old love that I just spoke ofI hope he’s making another girl feel like how he made me felt.

The Real people in life are the ones that change you.

daxle as a precocious teenager (16), i took a first year course in psychology at UCSD. i was not yet wary of professors. luckily i had a rather good one.
one day during break i went up to the prof and asked him how accurate he thought intelligence tests are. he said it depends on what they're measuring. how smart you are, right? what does smart mean?
he beat me at the game i was soon to master. tingled my brain and knocked me on my ass. now i know that i have a definition of it, and it's not the same as everyone else's, and yes that can cause problems, but that's life.
