http://blather.newdream.net/red/ Just found it myself... Last night blather was down, and I thought maybe it was over. I emailed the blather_gods to say thanks for the ride, then went to sleep. Today blather is back, and I found the red site... it was like seeing the dark side of the moon for the first time.

I feel like I'm not allowed there. Like its somehow sacred, and I'll fuck it up by posting anything there. So i don't.

who cares what anyone else thinks? You can do what you want. It might feel like a community, but it isn't, and you have just as much freedom to do what you want as anyone else does. sheesh.

I thought everyone knew about red. It defintely is a lot different than here. I thought it was the colour that made it so different, but maybe its just the fact that not everyone knew about it.

On the contrary Bobbo...blather (in all its forms) IS a community. Community is a word thrown to the misgivings of simply meaning a place of LIKE people AGREEING PEACEFULLY on matters. Rather, it is a gathering of people in common space. Peace, love, and understanding have nothing to do with 'community' in itself...but they do have everything to do with ENJOYABLE community. So, erego, I leave you with Elvis Costello... "What's so wrong with peace, love, and understanding?"

i think somewhere else i said pretty much the same thing. That we as a blather populace are the community, and everyone who is here is part of it.

seems the same to me. the color is surpisingly enough more calming. i don't think it's the red of blood. more like the red of rust. you get the feel words are flaky inscriptions, ain't gonna stick for long anyways. dirty or something. other than that. it's like the difference between people gambling at the excalibur or the bellagio. self selected sample. this one blatherer kyla was very interesting though. still, i'm happy where i am.

Is this not like discovering an alien life form? It's hilarious to read us saying, "I can't believe how weird and foreign blather_red looks" and them over there saying "I can't believe how weird and foreign blather_blue looks" and we are so convinced we must be different than eachother and it's so boggling to think that someone grew up adjusted to blather_red as for them it is boggling to think that someone grew up adjusted to blather_blue and we think of them as THEM and they think of us as THEM but can we all unite? THIS IS TRULY A REVOLUTIONARY SOCIAL EXPERIMENT. IT IS TAKING TWO SOCIETIES AND INTRODUCING THEM TO EACHOTHER. IT IS MYSTERIOUS. IT IS MAGICAL. IT IS INCREDIBLE.

i think it's used enough by people it seems like a quiet corner of blather that few people find their way to, a sanctuary for the words too easily found here. maybe i just shouldn't have shown them this site. blather red is my illusion of privacy, and selfish though it is, i want it to stay quiet and peaceful, a beautiful garden where i can run and hide and profess my inner feelings without the fear of these prying FAMILIAR eyes following me.

Why am I not writing on blather red? Because I'm playing around, blithering, blathering, and blothering on blue. Blue is where I go to float around and throw words up in the air and see where they land. Kind of like absent-mindedly pouring words out of your mouth while staring out the window, or twirling a stick around in a pool of your own slobber gathering on the table as you stare at the tv. Blue blather, blue blather, blue blather, bloorp bloother, blelp.

Someone once told me, when I was quite young (without knowing they were dong so), of a group of people who quite rightly, valued their gentle nature, their spiritual nature..their most human of "human" natures. And so they formed enclaves and cliques, groups, clubs and churches in order to preserve and enhance these qualities. And often, they honestly thought it would trickle down into their lives. And it honestly often did. But more often, it was like the Sufi teacher told me and as so many spiritual traditions describe: "What good is a light hidden under a basket, except to those who conspire to hide it there for their own benefit? Who forged a perfect sword just keep it as ornament rather than test it in battle?" But these places are hospitals. They are place of healing, curing and growing. "So why does these sanctuaries feed the spiritually weak as they harbor the spiritually wounded..when the weak feed on the wounded?" Because they are spiritually weak but spiritually inclined. Can't you see it in their attachment to superficial material beauty? Of course they need food. Of course they need healing. And what bread should we feed these emerging allies with? Trigger warning: WWJD? One day it will all be of benefit to the world. Even the judgement..even the elitism. Even as it turns us and our stomachs now. Fun stuff. Enjoy the show.
