there are many many types of blatherskite. the type who reads blathes and responds (for reasons unknown) you open blather, and go to recent (it's like the local hangout where everyone meets before and in between diving in) you scan down today, and see if anyone's responded your blathes, you reply to them, and then back to the recent list to catch the latest. the type who see the word, and give an opinion, an experience, etc. you open blather, and click in any place but recent, three_words may catch your eye, you may take a gander, or see who_blathes every word you come to, you will offer an interpretation, from the expressive depths of your subconscious, or from a recent encounter. you share. there are those who play games, have quizzes, tinker with the formatting, and make friends there are those who appear once a day, and those who appear once a year (there are even those who do not appear at all; the readers) many write stories or wage wars, chatter or philosophise. some play games of a more subtle nature, making codes and hidden poetry, stirring emotions, hiding behind masks, playing mind games with strangers. some joke, some discuss, some ridicule, some fall in love for some, blather shapes a world, for others, it provides a unique distration. some share news of comrades, past and new, inform on their lives, some take on a new personality, some are animated and full of life, others not so.. so many different people here, so many lives, standards, religions and attitudes some would say we waste time, some would argue why, some would say it's unhealthy, some think it's weird. I disagree. we are a living, organic testament, how well, how peacefully and respectfully we evolve together, that people could learn to bury their differences, and 'just get along', if they were just given 3 things; a universal language. an open environment, where everything they say can be read by everyone else. no weapons, just words. vive blather!

Why does there have to be -types-? Must every one always be categorized and labeled? Why can't we simply -be-?

well at least in my experience that compulsion to classify and categorize is an innately male predeliction..and yes i'm aware of the ominous overtones it suggests especially societally..in this supposed great egalitarian cauldron of heterogenaeity.. sometimes i have to rein in those fastidiously forensic impulses myself.. yeah why can't we all just be..we can but yeah the variegation is what nakes blather so awesome..and in the whole macro-model of societal synergies and separations..its what sometimes invests America with it's unique character..blech..a little too platitudinous..make way for the meritocrasy! er..ahem.. *abandons didactic digression and turns the radio* ..*just an adumbrative blush under light brown skin, me am a stinking egghead* ...

yep caught me being all nationalistic and everything, however that does not negate great britian or another free and open country that espouses (at least outwardly) liberty, fraternity and egalitariansm..we american do have atendancy to believe the world revolves around us..and we're still barely out of toddlerhood comparitively speaking with other countries regardles of the continent or first world or third world we're still relatively young.. i suppose this is an aprropriate page to sort this out..you know blather personality types..america and it's cultural hegemony, cultural imperialism and all that.. later ...

I like what Hobbes said in the Leviathon about the forensic fulminations of philosophy and it's inherent absurdities..or rather the tailor threading his spools of thread, suturing the dense interstices of so called philosophy, or dogma, or rubric..thinking that they (our arguments of impassioned absurdities) will reside in some celestial palace for all eternity intact and immune to attack and refutation. Ah but these polarities are essentially insoluble. Actually what Hobbes said was way shorter, nice and concise, but I hate quoting people or using referances and such..hence another spattering of the dense and the turgid. I am incorrigable. ...

I wonder if anyone besides me could fall into all the blather personality types mentioned. Many of us who come here regularly, come for the same reasons and we behave in similar ways. But mostly i am a recent_blathe_junkie because i like to have a deeper interaction with the blatherskites, and this gives the greatest insight into what makes them tick. The thing I do least often is click on "Go". Usually even the places the blather_oracle sends me to, are like slime at the bottom of the coffee cup. Only drank if i'm desparate. But the blather home page has some great random blathes that would have been forgotten otherwise. recycled blathes can be utterly brilliant. I refresh that page often.
