I can't draw for shit either, I'm sure you noticed though :) 070412 ... unhinged no_no you draw much better than i could dear; believe me on that one. and i wouldn't say sam brown is the best artist in the world, but that makes his stuff that much better for some reason. his little stick figures can show a lot of emotion. 070412 ... u24 i read a lot of megatokyo, which basically put paid to any idea i might have had about doing a comic (not that I'd ever thought of it until my crappy sketch for pete actually turned out ok) i was encouraged by xkcd and a_softer_world; i realised that you didn't actually have to have to be able to draw (though imo some of xkcd's drawings are awesome). but what I mean is that, basically, the fact that I'd never drawn anything worth keeping by anyone's standards in my whole life shouldn't hold me back. "fuck it. I'm going to draw some fucking doodles, you're going to look at them, and I don't care if it's crap". although, that's actually a lie. I do care. I spend quite a while in paint.NET CG-ing the colours to get it looking pretty. and maybe one day i'll learn how to draw properly. But I think that, really, you don't have to be artistic to be able to express yourself visually. I don't even have a scanner.
