oh, yeah, anyone using firefox to read them has to go and install this extension: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1715 and then read all of them again, this time with the added benefit of hover-over-descriptions and/or trivia.

u24, I love you. Mostly for the long tooltips -- I'm almost afraid to look at megatokyo; I have so many amazing webcomics I have to start reading after exams end. It's terrifying.

i find it strange that firefox doesn't render alt attributes as 'tooltips'. I mean, it's technically correct not to, as alt specifies an ALTernative to the the image, not a supplement to it, and the correct attribute (which does render in both browsers) to use would be title. But soooo many people still use alt, I do wonder why firefox doesn't. I'm going to write a greasemonkey script to change alts into titles.

I really enjoy how the xkcd-ster writes about things which are unbelievably geeky, and I'd think he was exaggerating... but I factor numbers obsessively too. I also walk funny on tiled floors and avoid cracks in the sidewalk. it's all so true. is a geek.

i sometimes get carried away with factoring small numbers, and i sometimes make ridiculous attempts to factor larger ones, even though i don't possess the skill to fully factor such numbers, but i shall factor forth

I read them all, liking many. Now I begin to find him tedious. How is it that sometimes our tastes stay anchored for decades, yet other tastes change with the moons? I presume my distaste to originate within; how much can this guy's style really have changed since I first read him seven weeks ago?!?
