Call it perverse curiosity, call it, "nosey"ness, call it my need_to_know. I don't need your symptomology. Just your name and your meds. I'm doing some research.

Pharmacist; I wouldn't be willing to give up personal information to anybody unwilling to blathe under their usual nic. And what type of research can this be? The whole thing sounds highly improbable to me... ³

I'm conducting an unscientific poll here to gather statistics for a school project, it would be a small piece of a larger research project about the overall distribution of people in the general population using whatever manner of drugs the purpose is threefold, for my statistics class, i'm looking to establish a distribution chart, for my pharamcology class, it allows me to relate the meds to whatever specific conditions and for my psychology class it lets me know how many people will or won't give this information in a relatively anonymous forum People confess a lot of things here, many a lot more potentially damaging than their prescription records, so if you've blathed anything deeply personal here, your objection to my little poll is moot, although the answer you provided me about being unwilling to share is a valid one and will be evaluated as such

For example, i could tell you based on the other two answers that birdmad is a high-strung diabetic and that MDogMA likes the recreational stuff but is also cognizant of the potential harm it might cause and uses the niacin to balance it out...

who am i? a friend of a blatherer who suggested that this might make an ideal starting point for my research sort of the cyber-equivalent to the random "person-on-the-street" surveys that stop you at the shopping malls to ask dumb questions i've read about a weeks worth to get a feel for whether or not you'd all be kind enough to let me do this, and so far, i'm optimistic

For the record, I stopped taking Lithium about 18 months ago (on the advice of my psychiatrist). Everything fine so far. I quit smoking cigarettes years ago and quit smoking dope after that because my girl said it was either that or she'd leave me. I'll admit, I had to think about that one for a bit. I'm down to one (strong) coffee per diem, my favourite color is deep blue, and I'm nuts about motorcycles. I suspect that your poll will peter out before you can gather any significant data - most blatherites having short attention spans. May I suggest that you try searching blatherdom under the individual drug names... ³
