Syrope "my speed is mountain dew!" no really I dont know what my speed is, but i stole this one from some guy... i miss governor's school. we did a 24 hour presentation on speed. we all watched an introductory video...like with clips from old science films to watch people who studied time and speed and velocity ...we ended that at midnight, ran out into the quad, did interpretive dances and drive-by poetry...then we had to go inside about 2, watched tv till 6...they had taped someone sleeping for a week and smashed it into 4 hours...talk about speed-sleeping...then we went outside and every department had booths set up with little tidbits about space, time, speed, velocity, movement. there were all sorts of games...that night around 11, we went in and watched the finale. it was the most awesome thing i had ever seen. the arts departments had put together an amazing production - music and light and dance and poetry coming from every direction...ahh there was a piece..."human traffic" - they had people moving like at stoplights and using turn signals and changing lanes. it took the whole stage, and people were crammed...but moved like clockwork - great choreography. and they tapped into peoples thoughts when they stopped, and when they started moving again they stopped midsentence... everyone said "My speed is..." and then named something most important to them. what's your speed? 020405 ... blue star did my mom lace the cookies?
