cookies andrea sights and sounds of the impending christmas season return me to my childhood when my mother an i would make cookies. i used to feel so needed and important to the success of our cookie-making mission, kneeling on my chair to be able to reach the whole counter. after they were all mixed, baked, and cooling on cut-open paper bags, we would sample them before mixtures of them were packed away in foil-lined christmas boxes or old ice cream buckets to be delivered to various friends and family members. that was the best time of the year for me. just mom & i and a few dozen cookies... 991220 ... It is a convenient way to cook and simple to prepare. I want cookies for all occasions... salad cookies, healthy meals in a cookie that smells like a cookie...
