Liking to eat them? The yellow blooms are delicious... as for more obvious salad material, the greens taste interesting and slightly bitter, like the purply kinds of lettuce. Even my mother, who says she doesn't like dandelion leaves, liked this: a few of the above (picked reasonably far from the road and pesticide-sprayed lawns) combined with the boring kind of lettuce, juicy tomato slices, green peppers, pine nuts, fresh chives, and a dressing of balsamic vinegar with a touch of lemon juice, plus a sprinkling of oregano and caraway seeds.
