sphinxradio two by two, the crowd thins as the slow song comes on and i remember running through the dancing couples, manuvering and feeling as though i was running through a strange forest.

i don't know if i still want to be running. i wonder sometimes what i look like from a runner's perspective when i'm in his arms.

there's something to be said for being able to see the forest.

pete it's still early, the sun streaked the eastern horizon with red. i stood in the light breeze above the world in an island of clear as the fog hugged the riverlands below. in the distance the red and orange and gold and green hills reach up above the fog peeling of the big river and its little friends, a light stands welcoming me to our land above the world, small islands of clairity. 061007
