User24 yes, the go button is my preferred method of communication, but lets face facts, the only reason any of us write is to get read, if it wasn't, why do it online? it's nice to know that someone is reading and responding, and when blather is quiet, you feel very alone. humans are social creatures by nature, and the reason so many blatherskites want to chat is because we're a) so different from the people we know and b) so like each other so it's a social club, sometimes we chat about important stuff, like cheese, and sometimes we just chat about random stuff, like the nature of the universe this is a message board, whether you like it or not, if you don't want people to respond and 'chat', don't talk. If you feel that blather is somehow degraded by little conversations, etc, don't engage in, or encourage them, just use your mental ignore button (I hear dafremen has some special filtered glasses) personally, I can sift through crappy conversations and all those annoying test sites when I want to think, and indulge in them when I see fit, I'd have thought everyone else on here would be intelligent enough to so the same. 030701 ...
