Run, run rabbit run Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to start another one For long you live and high you fly But only if you ride the tide And balanced on the biggest wave You race toward an early grave.

One, Two, Free, Four The memories of man in his old age, are the deeds of a man in his prime. You schuffle in the gloom in the sickroom, and talk to yourself as you die. Life is a short warm moment, and death is a long cold rest. You get your chance to try, in a twinkling on an eye, in eighty years (with luck) or even less.

So all aboard for the American tour And maybe you'll make it to the top And mind how you go And I can tell you 'cause I know You may find it hard to get off And You are the angel of death And I am the dead man's son And he was buried like a mole in a fox hole And everyone's still on the run And who is the master of fox hounds? And who says the hunt has begun? And who calls the tune in the courtroom? And who beats the funeral drum? The memories of a man in his old age Are the deeds of a man in his prime You shuffle in gloom of the sickroom And talk to yourself till you die

GIGOLO AUNT Grooving around in a trench coat with the satin on trail Seems to be all around in tin and lead pail, we pale Jiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day! Will you please keep on the track 'cause I almost want you back 'cause I know what you are you are a gigolo aunt, you're a gigolo aunt! Yes I know what you are you are a gigolo aunt, you're a gigolo aunt! Heading down with the light, the dust in your way she was angrier than, than her watershell male life to this love to me - heading me down to me thunderbird shale seems to be all and it's rosy - it's a beautiful day! will you please keep on the track 'cause I almost want you back 'cause I know what you are you are a gigolo aunt Grooving on down in a knapsack superlative day some wish she move and just as she can move jiving away she made the scene should have been-superlative day everything's all and it's rosy, it's a beautiful day will you please keep on the track 'cause I almost want you back 'cause I know what you are you are a gigolo aunt...

with the club tie.. and a firm handshake a sudden look in the eye and an eaaaasy smile you have to be trusted by the people that you lie to so that when they turn their backs on you you'll get the chance to put the knife in. oh my... so tough to choose a single quote, i just chose the one which most recently popped into my head during the republican national convention. floyd is the first band i bought all the albums of, but zeppelin was my first band obsession. (to be fair, i listen to floyd quite a bit more, and only have obsessed over phish, nine inch nails, and the cure as much as i have floyd.) plus, i go by cyd when not in the blue ether bluether blather and most people say "like sid vicious?" and i glare at them, and say: "well, if you must choose a famous cyd, and siddhartha is not one who comes readily to mind, then i would much prefer being linked to syd barrett. not only did syd actually HAVE musical talent, but he was a visionary. shine on, you realistic optimist!!
