R. Dafremen You will not hurt me unless I let you Time makes us the masters of our fate Along the winding way Trusting to communication Draws a line between us There begins the show You cannot know everything about me You..cannot know me from my words Each of us is left alone To the secrets of our souls The best our words could ever offer is a show So would you really? Would you really enjoy a show? Would you really? Could you really enjoy the show? There is nothing wrong with wanting to be near you (So I tell myself) There’s nothing wrong with keeping you away There is everything to hide From the unworthy, on the inside Lingering, smoulder after-embers Ritual pain I feel sometimes So would you really? Would you really enjoy a show? Would you really? Could you really enjoy the show? Entertained? So glad that you enjoyed the show Anyway With pleasure and with pain we build a maze In the end The forming of reflections that are memories Reframes all our perceptions And a fantasy remains So would you really? Would you really enjoy it? Really? Could you really enjoy the scene? The fantasy? Would you really enjoy a show? Really enjoy the show? Could you really enjoy the show? Would you really? Would you really enjoy a show? Would you really? Would you really enjoy the show? (repeat) Would you really? Enjoy the show.

(Alright, let's see. It's time we stop the play for a moment, so everyone can try to get their bearings. Seems like a lot of us are really getting caught up in the role. The enthusiasm is really appreciated, but we're on a script here. Let's not forget the spirit and plot of the play. We're all light at play, we know our job..we didn't just get blown out of the backside of a singularity. The director didn't makes us human because we SUCK at this evolution thing. So, let's remember the progression, OK? It's there in your script notes. If you have trouble reading, just listen to your conscience, right? That's what it's there for. I'm not trying to talk down to anyone so hopefully, no one feels patronized. I'd never presume. On the contrary, it is, has been and hopefully will continue to be, a great pleasure to perform in this show with actors of your caliber. Truly this IS the show to be in. Let's just keep this thing going toward the finale, and try not to lose ourselves so much in the characters, that we forget we are a theatrical production TEAM. By keeping focus we can reach a major milestone and turning point in the script: either the making or breaking of the human race. Those of you who've gravitated toward the breaking humanity side, nice job. You really took the role to heart, and produced an incredibly dystopian future. Frankly, the viewer AND the writers are going to have a hard time figuring out what could possibly come next besides slavery and death. Now THAT is villain, crowned. The use of sci fi's prescient warnings as the unfolding inspiration was..a brilliant, parasitic reversal. Let's keep that energy, but without being so hyper-agressive that the ending becomes a long, drawn out monotonous bore for the audience, fair enough? Nobody likes sitting through the last half hour of Monopoly, trust me. Maybe..push the cops so far they turn on you, or SOMETHING to wildcard it up a bit. (Just throwing ideas out there, mind you. Far be it from me to tell you how to play the side of darkness.) Also kudos to all of the lightworkers who played unwitting dupes or just went with the whole "hopeless apathy" vibe. Not sure what you're going for..but have some suspicions and I think I like it. Those of you who have improv'ed your characters out of apathos and into action..yet another unexpected surprise. Thank you. You will be the "Rebel Alliance". Should be actiony and deathy. The villains' performance couldn't have engulfed the plot so thoroughly without all of your utterly convincing portrayals. With a bit of imagination and some clever character work, we might turn this into a happy ending or at least a less depressing one. We'll see. Should be interesting. Finally, before we get back to the production, I want to thank those of you who have kept to the script, sacrificially offering your stage time, in order to keep the lines marking the road clear for all to see. That's what keeps this show on track. Sometimes, we all get a little wild up here, trying to be seen before the curtain comes down. That's when we get off track, and get too into the role. I guess that's why time most honors the spirit whisperers among us: because they anchor us to the reality of what we're SUPPOSED to be doing up here. Eventually, when we all realize how far off stage we've gotten with our mindless acting, we look to those who know their mark by heart and muddle our way back up the steps to the lights. Ok, enough of the sappy stuff. We all got a pat on the back, and it's about time for our cue again. Everyone ready? Love you guys..let's go break a leg!) "So yea, I'm not sure why the security guy at the dispensary said my welding mask wasn't good enough because it 'only covered my face'. You'll have to ask him. But if they don't want to see my smile, they don't get to see the windows to my soul either."
