Issue: Hillary cannot be the president of 2010, because there is no presidential election in 2010. US Presidential elections are held every 4 years. There was one in 2000, there will be one this year (2004). There will be another in 2008, another in 2012, another in 2016, another in 2020, and so on.

Editorial: Hilary vs. Arnold The Carmel Pine Cone - Fri Nov 5 http://www.carmelpinecone.com/041105-7.html FOR MOST Democrats, the results of Tuesday’s national election were inexplicable. As far as they’re concerned, George Bush is a spiteful idiot whose Presidency has been an unmitigated disaster. Yet a majority of Americans voted to keep him in office!

With republicans in power, and as well as Bush and Arnold get along, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a constitutional amendment on the way.

pobodys nerfect still wants Hillary for Prez!
|
I really wanted this to happen, and not because she's female like me. (honest!) Here were my reasons: 1) Her husband was president for 8 years, so she knows all the behind the scenes crap she'd be getting into and what the job truly involves, and is most likely to be able to handle the pressure of the job as well. 2) During his presidency, Bill was very well liked and respected by many americans (and other countries all over the world!). He wasn't regarded as a walking asshole like Bush. =P So if she needed to turn to hubby for advice, that advice is going to come from someone whose been in the same shoes and is speaking from experience. 3) With the above two points in mind, she has an 8 year jump experience-wise on Obama. 4) I think Hillary would've been more likely to address climate change issues in a more timely fashion. Maybe i'm discriminating, but in my experience it always seems like women are willing to address the earths future, and not just the "now". 5) How cool would it have been to have both a husband AND wife team each serve as president of the u.s.?! That's something that's very unlikely to ever happen again in my lifetime, and i think it would also help to strike up an interest in young women going into politics & talking about political issues (and not just discussing what's in the latest tabloids =P ). 6) Obama's wife seems like a real bitch who only wants hubby to be in office because it equals power. I definitely think she rules the roost of that family, and Obama is merely her puppet. =P 7) I don't think *anyone* should be voted for, simply because they are racially different--OR even gender different!--than those in the same job position before them. I really think it should be based on experience, and what the person could do while in office. And like i said earlier, she has an 8 year jump on him as far as knowing what it would be like to be there.

The current Candidates are not going to offer Anything New despite the Rhetoric. Whoever is Elected is going to Inherit The Fiscal Timebomb of the Previous Administration. Rising Inflation to pay For the Forever War Collapsing Markets from Poorly Regulated Investment Brokers Ect. For Whatever Reasons None of the Candidates Ever truly address the Root Causes of Things, Instead We get a long Cascade of Sound Bytes and Buzz Words, Rah! Rah! Raah! People Will Claim That They Are Making Their Choice On The Issues Not Personalities, but in the End We are Never given the Issues. It's a Media Circus much like any Sports event, or "Reality" television show. And it's Rigged People, the only Horses in the race are Members of the Same Club, Call em' what you want, CFR, Bilderberg, Illuminati there are those who "We the People" never get to vote for who have enough control through ownership of the Media, so that the Public Generally accepts their Version of the truth. Any Candidate from the Outside of This Influence that would Directly discuss the Federal Reserve Banking Cartel and the Constitution will be killed with silence. I'm an Old Fart, I've Always Voted. Whatever the Outcome I had Believed in the process. This Year I feel as if the curtain that began to rip for me back with Nixon/Watergate has frayed to the point of Tranparency, and the picture ain't pretty boys and girls. I'll still Vote, But truthfully I don't have much faith in the process anymore.
