there was a point in time when I wasn't afraid. I wasn't lonely. My confidence was unshakeable. I was more dynamic and had more to offer.
now, it's not that way, but I'm not really in a state of despair.
I realize, there will be times when you feel like shit.
When you lose sight of what you have to offer.
When you forget the people who love and care about you.
When you doubt your own strength.
I see that's the phase I'm in now, I'll be out of it soon. Rebuilt, and feeling better about the person that I am

but no. You don't note the second that your lips meet. You don't know you're changed. Because really... the kiss is just a catalyst, and you move on from there.
You never mark the seconds that make you who you are, because you'd have to capture your life one moment at a time and just as humans have not the scope to see the clock where the big hand goes around just once, neither can we see the clock where the second hand is longest (or maybe too big to measure)
So I mark this point in time.
and at that point... I was a culmination of every point before it, unnoticed, unmarked. I was a monument to the storie of my life.
But I'm different now. A thousand points have passed that I forgot to mark.

any point in time is objectively the same as any other yet I can only see from now, what the chemicals in the brain are doing at the moment, what my current imbalance, realising that soon i will be okay (or not okay, again)

I remember these points in time, where I've forgotten how strongly I felt. I remember the firsts, as if it was really new.
and that is why I take dxm for two days in a row when I remember that it is there, once every few months or so.
