The other night, the four of us were in the car, and this song came on the radio. And we all kind of got silent, and sung it to ourselves, while the streetlights streaked their veneer across the windows. When we got to the diner, the song hadn't finished, and we sat for a while to hear the end. Basha turned the car off before it finished though, so it never came to its final resolution. That song makes me feel old. We had a lot of fun at the diner. There were 20 people stretched out along the table, ha, we drove the waiters crazy. It was hard to be the center of attention. On the way home, Claire and Basha had a fight, and I don't think they're friends anymore. It reminded me of the song. Then we went to Ian's and played Scrabble. Jack threw tiles because he insisted "aruba" was a word. I can't remember who won. It is difficult to reflect on your life when you haven't really lived it yet. When I am old, I will reflect.

It is an excellent song. I got to feel smug when Adam made me a mix with Billy Corgan's cover, and I said Stevie Nicks was better. It was one of the only times in our relationship. The next mix had Stevie on it.

This is one of the few songs out there, that if you give yourself to it, it will change you.

(blather took the proper spacing of the chords out, but you could figure it out if you listened along)

not really - the slides really make the song (a lot) so a chordal pattern can't really show the song. need a tab or a score. but as if we could be bothered. just listen to it. and Billy Corgans version is so surperior.

I know. i was going to post a tab, but blather hates anything that is dependent on spacing. and I like both billy's version and stevie's version about the same. Except, *gasp*, I actually like stevie's acoustic version the most. and a song becomes several times more potent when you play it. Because your not only taking in and feeling those emotions, your giving them life.

fifteen sings a song called Liberation II and the lyrics are kind of like this: this is not another song about two dysfunctional people in love with each other and it basically says how there's five billion people in the world (it's not a new song) and it should be easy to find someone else and get over people.. and then at the end it cuts in with those lyrics you have above "built my whole life round you" its like all original and then at the end it covers it sounds so so sweet ass

"By subsidizing non-profit organizations while spreading social awareness, Subcity aims to have an impact that goes beyond music. This is not another song about two dysfunctional people In love with each other And how it's just too bad they're so willing to abuse each other And gladly accept it from the other This is not another song about how it all came to an end And how I hope that you'll still be my friend 'Cause I don't And how we can't wait to get back together 'Cause it would only prove our cowardess And show we must take heed from all and leave 'er all alone (this line is questionable as he says it rather fast) Even though there's five billion people in this world Maybe if we keep on trying We'll find the one that's just right I bet you'll make it through the night Yeah, maybe you'll find the one that's just right Your problems will end and you won't have to hide Once you've slept with everyone and it still doesn't work out Maybe you'll find the problem on the inside See this is a song about a boy and a girl Fell in love and ignored the real world They had complimentary patterns from mom and dad But it wasn't a compliment at all It was perjury, it was injury, it was abuse It was a lie You know I have to agree it's great to say I love you Maybe first we should find out what it means 'Cause there's five billion people in this world Maybe if you keep on trying You'll find the one that's just right I bet you'll make it through the night Yeah, maybe you'll find the one that's just right Your problems will end and you won't have to hide Once you've slept with everyone and it still doesn't work out Maybe you'll find the problem on the inside I've been scared of changing cuz i built my whole life round you time makes you older even children get older i'm getting older too i'm getting older too"
