Gender is made in and between the ears It shifts with time and conventions. It doesn't line up with chromosomes or genitalia or who you're attracted to or what hobbies you like to do. But maleness and femaleness exists. I wouldn't want it to be erased, just for people to not be so overbearing with it and thinking it is intrinsic.
