how_puff_daddy_killed_his_way_to_succss
jennifer No, no, no, really, hear me out on this one. This one may or not make sense to you. Everyone knows about east coast and west coast rap. Both of these styles are very different forms of music. A few years ago, the West Coast had it going on! No one cared if the east lived or died except for a few people. Puffy was a little no musical talent punk. He wanted $$$$. He recruited Suge Knight to help him kill his way to success. Puffy and Suge made a deal whereupon they would create a rivalry that extended from the rap world to create record sales and split the profits. They each chose their most talented rapper. Puffy picked Biggie, Suge picked Tupac. Puffy found Faith Evans and paid her to marry Biggie. She got married to Biggie. Next she cheated on him with Tupac. Then she became pregnant, and claimed not to know if Biggie or Tupac was the father. Husband and "Mistr....ess" started fighting. It spilled over into the music. Every rap fan in the nation chose a side. Rap sales increased. Tempers flared. Tupac goes to Las Vegas and gets shot, with Suge in the car. No one dies in Vegas unless the Mafia says so, don't you watch movies?! Tupac later dies. Record sales for Tupac soar. Suge is rolling now, baby. But Puffy ain't finished yet, no, not at all! Keep in mind that Puffy was absolutely nothing until this happened. Puffy has Suge framed and put until prison. A year goes by and the frenzy over Tupac dies down. Puffy has Biggie killed. Record sales for Biggie soar. Puffy acts all sad cause Big was his "best friend". Within just a few weeks, Puffy and Faith have a song written, recorded and released in his honor. Obviously, that song sells huge. Now that everyone is dead, he's the biggest living name in hip hop music. We don't exactly have a choice anymore! He goes around saying that violence is so horrible. All the weak-minded people fall into his trap. He makes bad songs that sample good songs. He cannot rap if his life depended on it. But the songs he samples rule, so people keep buying more. He makes songs about how money is horrible and then never fails to seek more, i.e. he files to becomes an NFL agent. Everyone in the world is now either dead, in prison, or under Puffy's mind control.

The Devil's Advocate:

I find it hard to believe that Tupac would be stupid enough to fall for this. I believe that Tupac was one of the wisest, most intelligent, enlightened people of our generation, if not the most. In addition, he didn't trust anyone. I formerly subscribed to the conspiracy theory that he faked his own death, but I no longer do. Now I believe that Tupac knew everything that he needed to know, he said everything he had to say, he spoke to the people he had to speak to in order for them to carry his wisdom on, and he was rewarded by God. I am positive of that. I have no physical proof, I just know that it's right. It's unfortunate that the masses are so ignorant. But then, maybe it isn't, because it was obviously meant to be that way. Many people see Tupac as a rapper, or a rapper who went to jail, or a rapper who got killed in a rap war. But as I said above, he made himself heard for those of us who needed to hear him. And always remember there is a difference between hearing and listening, so just because someone claims to be a Tupac fan or can sing along to his songs doesn't mean anything. He was a modern day martyr and his message is ignored because he used "bad words" and "glamourized violence", as it should be because those who condemn him or ignore him due to narrow-mindedness (i.e. "I hate all rap music.") were simply not intended to hear him. His lyrics and his poetry are absolutely amazing. He is, in my opinion, anyway, the most intelligent and thought provoking songwriter to live since Jimi Hendrix died in 1970, with the exception of Bob Dylan. So if this theory above were true, I can't figure anything out.

"Perhaps I was blind to the facts, stabbed in the back. I couldn't trust my own homies, just a bunch of dirty rats. Will I, succeed, paranoid from the weed. And hocus pocus, try to focus but I can't see." ..Only God can Judge Me, 2Pac.
