mahayanas_dyed_hair Mahayana: Zakah: Sangha Jewels of Refuge sTePs to moon.comet.planet.star-dom ¿what colour is mah hair how did you do that-ness? 1]buzZed hair down pretty damn low, eXcept the two long antenna strands in the front ... which I left black 2]bleached black hair down to a nice carmel orange, again eXcept antennas 3]dyed buzZed hair with Punkys color *atlantic blue* 4]made moon.comet.planet.star stencils out of cleaned/recycled/super siZed McDonalds cups [[used X-acto knife]] 5]after dye dried & stencils were cut, i placed the separately cut stencils in the proper places, one at a time, on bleached the /buZzed/dyed hair using an artists paint brush to paint in the same kind of hair bleach & developer used earlier 6]waited for it to take it down to a nice lime-yellowish color 7]rinsed out bleach 8]conditioned head 9]viola 10]moon.comet.planet.star-dom head achieved +did the whole process myself +didnt take long at all +when you bleach in the stencil designs, i found it to be helpful to smooth the hair forward so that you'd have a flat surface to paint bleach on [don't worry looks fabulous when styled anyway .. forward...back... up] +if you screw up the design which i haven't ever yet, you can always re-dye with atlantic blue & no one but you will ever know. hope that helps Toxic Kisses [any ± questions please ask] [[thinking about doing an X-mas theme not sure yet]]] 011222 ... Mahayana: Zakah: Sangha Jewels of Refuge u c this *is* the tRiCk tah getting the dye to stay,, esp blue,, blue is 1 of the hardest colors to get bold & dependable +when ur dying your hair blue, get one of those silly looking *tee-hee* plastic head/hair covers, you know ... the ones with elastic around the rim that covers yer head/hair ...NOT the one with holes in it, just pure plastic... keep it covered [your head that is], as long as possible, sometimes i even sleep with it on, and im telling you the blue results are FAB FAB FAB!!! +ALSO use a hOt heAted blOw drYer on yer head/hair, when it is wrapped up in the lil plastic hair cover thing-a-mah-jiggy ... the heat penetrates the dYe deep into the shafts of your hair ... blow dry as often as you'd like, BUT, keep that plastic hat on +another tip, if you want a darker blue, and have had it always come out too light blue for your liking, you can: a. when bleaching down your hair color, dont go so far down to blonde, leave it more orangish and it'll help produce a more deeper blue b. and/or add plum violet dye into the blue and it will give you a more purpleish hue to start off with, but than it fades into this awesome blue, and than into other hues [[[& that is way fun to mess with]] hope this helps & remember no two dye jobs will ever ever ever be.look.wear the same essence as before & use Vaseline or petroleum jelly around your forehead, on ears, and if you have long hair on your neck, to prevent the dye from staining your skin & if ya fuck ^, its only hair, it'll grow back, or be bold & BZZZZtttt buZz it down [[[and thats my 67¢ worth]]] 011222 ... unhinged i've always wanted to dye my hair some crazy color but i don't think i would get called for orchestra gigs anymore if i did. stupid uptight classical musicians :( 011222 ...
