i read The Diamond Age, by Neal Stephenson. it was a very good book about learning and society and such.

blather is evil and does not accept the truth of Time Cube, I am Dr 24 of the cubists, you are evil educated stupid how can you know the truth of Time Cube? I am the wisest human on Earth. Time is a 4 corner square that rotates to a 4 day time cube within 1 - 24 hour rotation of Earth.

anyway, much though I'd love to rip the piss, I fear that Gene Ray is probably actually insane, and don't think that's fair.
His point is almost valid, but.... yet... stupid. Sure, the light of the sun moves over the earth, creating a rolling 24 hour period.. but that's just because we live in many different places on Earth; if we stay in one place, there is only one day, anyway, so yeah, there are an infinite number of days ('dumb fools claim infinite days') concurrently happening on the Earth, but so what, in simpler terms, all Gene's saying is that the USA is a few hours ahead of the UK.. and your point is, Mr Ray?
