They call me Truth If the big bang created the universe, then where did the particles that caused the big bang come from? You can't have an explosion out of nothing. I know how the universe was created but how are the particles that caused the big bang created?

There is a profound question at the origin of things, that makes this entire universe seemingly impossible or extremely miraculous. If the an explosion created this, then something had to create the explosion, and then something had to create the thing that created the explosion. This would have had to go on forever or else something would not have a cause. Eternity implies no beginning, which is equally problematic. If something does not have a beginning how can it exist?

They call me Truth I take back one of my statements. I don't know how the universe was created, You can't be too sure of anything and I don't invest too much belief on current scientific theories. 081226

They call me Truth Everything in this world has to have a cause...this is rule with only one exception: there is no cause for the primary causer. How is this possible? 081228

past perhaps it created itself. eventually something will be autochthonic. you'll rest at an unmoved mover, or you'll fall into the reflections at the furthest reaches of facing mirrors. how far do you seek to go? how far can the human mind reach and comprehend? 081229

They call me Truth how can something create itself? If it could think of creating itself then it already exist and there is nothing to create. And there has to be something there. Can nothing create itself into something?

It is not about comprehending everything...the power is in the question not the answer...If you ask such questions, you have to admit that there is something mysterious and unknown at the root of everything...and it is a humbling thought...it makes you realize that life should be treasured.

jane energy cannot be created or destroyed. like the_force.

i would rather believe in the force, le force, energy, or pi, before i even am inclined to call anything "god."

oren If the concept of eternity can be accepted, then it's possible to accept that energy and matter have_always been around.

Since my mind is so caught_up in_the concept of linear_time, questions of origin will continue to_be frustrating.

I_have resigned myself to_the fact that even_though I_understand what eternity is, I_will_never grasp the_idea of existing outside linear_time. Therefore, I_will never_be able to grasp whether or not_there was an origin.

Lemon_Soda Which is funny because we don't even exist in linear time. We are NOW, not Then, Now, and Later.

the message Don't ever stop pondering this question. You will find the truth. 131113

TCMT I have been pondering that question for a very long time. I still ponder it.

Either matter is eternal, or was made from something. That thing could have been a creator, another universe, a black hole, any number of things. This is the best I have come up with so far.

the message If I were you, I wouldn't settle for "the best I can come up with". Jump into the mystery and see where the adventure will lead you. At this moment, my definition of truth differs quite a bit from yours. In the past, our thoughts were more similar. I was searching for something. At times, trying to figure it out, made my brain spin until I got a headache. One day, I found my truth. I was content. My reality couldn't be changed, even if I wanted it to. It wasn't about dogma and religion. It wasn't about hatred and exclusion. It was about Jesus. Plain and simple. It doesn't make sense to those on the outside. Like a foreign language. That's because the Creator himself must intervene. The person experiences something supernatural. It is not my intention to start a debate, on why God is superior to science. You asked some questions of great value. The answers will come when they are meant to. 131115
...
TCMT Sorry. Jesus isn't the answer for me. I tried that once before. The shoe doesn't fit. I won't argue why because, like you, I think every person should come to their own answer. 131115

the message Ah...yes, I remember trying on shoes. It's not that I found the right pair. It was like my feet were now the right size, to fit a familiar style. They were a bit stiff at first, but after some breaking in, they became quite comfortable. He is now like a running shoe that carries me for many miles. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. It might never be your answer. It's a privilege to discuss this with you, rather than be attacked with profanities, as I see happening to many Christians here. We may not have the concept of origins, but we both can agree that it's AMAZING. 131116

Strideo the Big Bang was not an explosion. "big bang" is sort of a bad name for it.

the universe was once very very dense. I'm not sure why. the Big Bang was when space stretched out and all the matter in the universe could spread apart enough for light to travel freely and eventually cool enough for particles to form atoms.
