I heard it first perhaps three or four years ago, and it just stood out. Listening to it that first time through, it spoke to me about my life in ways a song never had before. And still, all these years later, it speaks to me. I have listened to it literally well over a thousand times (haha, I agree with you there, endless), and each time through I find something new, be it a guitar riff or a bass note I never noticed, a breath inflection or perhaps a slightly miss-twanged chord. It is so beautiful, and through the years, it is the musical equivalent of my lifetime. Many other songs by this amazing band come close, and their lyrics (I think they have the best lyrics of any band, ever) seem written to my life, but Motorcycle Driveby tops them all. so_alone so_alive 030902 what's it to you? who go blather from
