You have an endless desire to hear more? Well you talked me into it. But I don't believe you have no hidden talent, so keep thinking :) Anyway, here goes: Vancouver is a fun place. A romantic place. A place where anything is possible. I used to work at Tower Records as I have previously stated (when I was thought to have been canadian). One day a very special person walked into my life in a time when I most needed someone. I was (and am) clinically depressed and was feeling completely alone. I worked eight hours, slept eight hours, and spent the remaining eight in front of the TV watching movies. Until I met a new co-worker and we became friends. I had been planning to take a road trip to let off steam, but couldn't think of anyone to go with. When I mentioned this, I was surprised when my new friend eagerly volunteered. After all, we had just met! As we planned our trip and saved up money over the following month, we grew closer. We became inseperable. We told each other everything. We decided to go to Vancouver, because we heard it was cool, and it wasn't too far away. (the 18 year drinking age was a factor as well) So off we went. You should have heard the border guards! "How long have you known each other?" "What is your relation to each other?" "Are you being held against your will?" Honestly! The city itself was gorgeous! Old fashioned downtown areas, a giant dome with a science museum in it, an artsey shopping district on Granville island, beautiful tall buildings including one like the space needle in Seattle, and the most gorgeous beach I have ever seen. We stayed in a small hotel room with one bed. Even though we were such good friends we were nervous about sharing a bed. We were both secretly attracted to each other. One of the hotel staff asked if we were on our honeymoon, which tickled us so much that we pretended we were married the whole trip. We walked hand in hand, saw the sights while calling each other "honey." We went out shopping, dining, lounged on the beach at sunset, went drinking, and went back to the hotel at night completely tipsy and told each other our most secret of secrets. Then we slept side by side, both dreaming of kissing each other. Although we didn't become a couple until after we got back home, We fell in love in Vancouver. We even went back... for our anniversary :) (yes we are still together)

Yay! To be loved by such wonderful people! You guys are my new favorite couple! *hugs* Oh, and the only reason I fit in at Tower was because it had two floors. The top floor was for pop/rock, rap, ska, techno, and stuff like that. And downstairs was where Jazz, classical, country, new age, and easy listening were at. So there were two factions of weirdos. I fit right in with the downstairs folk. needs a job as well.
