blather_on_thursdays nocturnal I've noticed a trend over these past few months since I first started blathering. I find that from Sunday to Wednesday, people blather the most. from Thursday on, however, the rate significantly drops. Now I know that this is obviously due to the weekend and people having lives and so forth, but, at least for me, my weekends have only begun on Thursday since I've been at college. From what I've gathered there's only a handful of us in college, so this seems rather curious to me. Or, maybe I jsut need to find something better to do with my time than notice these things. 010503 ... florescent light I've noticed the opposite- that here is a significant increase Friday/Sat/ and Sun. 010504 ... nocturnal but, as I have seen yet again today, thursdays always take a dive in the blather realm. is it the must see tv that takes everyone away? I just don't know. what I do know is that I have a paper to put off writing and no one is here to help me. 010510 ... the spork it's my one guilty pleasure but i was watching smackdown (yes, i am a closet wrestling fan) besides, the more often i watch other "real" sports the more i become convinced that the outcomes are just as scripted as those in a wrestling show especially my once beloved NBA but that's another rant 010511 ... nocturnal I so just lost some respect for you. smackdown? you poor misguided youth. and if you want a sport that is definitely not staged, try college football. I hated it until a couple years ago. I figured, I'm going to college in texas, the main college in texas. I might as well at least give it a try. and I must say I surprised myself. I just can't get enough of it. 010511 ... Kontrol of course college football is not staged. There is not a person on this earth with a mind twisted enough to write a script for such berbarity 010511 ... nocturnal at work I was just thinking how blather was rather quiet today. a small comotion over the cancer thing, and some minor activity with the orchestra, but overall a rather quiet day. then I was like, hey! it's thursday, figures. 010607 ... nocturnal at work and here begins another dull thursday from the looks of things. 010614 ... Casey I think profesional football is staged. Just look at what teams have gone to the superbowl in the past few years 010614 ... nocturnal at work dude, don't mess with football. that's some sensitive issues you're getting yourself into there. the Saints are proof enough that it is not staged. 010614 ... kingsuperspecial yeah, back off of football. Even if it is main stream, commercialized, grossly overpaid, and mind-numbing, it's still fun to watch sometimes. If it's staged I'd be quite shocked, an awful big conspiracy to keep quiet. Sometimes I feel like the whole world is staged. Everyone shows up right before I come in, and all rush around when I'm looking, but when I'm not there they just sit back and wait until I come back. When I saw 'The Truman Show' it made feel sort of sick, like the world was mocking me, dangling the truth in my face. Thinking like that isn't good for my head, since there's so little I believe in anyway.
