A recurring theme here, and elsewhere, is persons whom declare "true love" nonexistent and/or farsical because they have never experienced it, or because they experienced something similar which then went horribly awry. In this life I have not experienced "true love" with another, though I have loved and been loved, in other ways. But I have no doubts that the enduring state known as "true love" exists. Why not, you ask? Because I do not need to have experienced something to know it is experienceable. I have never felt the "true anger" necessary to embark upon a murderous rampage, and have thus never experienced the state known as "true satisfaction of bloodlust". And while I hope to continue my ignorance in the latter matters, my belief in their existence is not shaken. Should I renounce my belief in "true curiosity" simply because my current efforts to alleviate "true boredom" have met with failure? These true states are rare as it is; but with True Love the rarity goes up as it requires more than one party to experience it simultaneously. If found, however, I do believe it can endure throughout life. There are many things I will not have experienced in this lifetime, and thank goodness... this leaves things to be experienced in the next!

So you believe in reincarnation? I find that to be an interesting possibility but i like to think that if God truly gave us free choice out of his unconditional love, we would be able to choose anything including trying the whole process of life over again, Well I agree with your argument for love. And i agree that it is rare that both parties experience it at the same time, hence all the heart break that we see all around. The sight of true love is rare and being able to experience it is even rarer. But i am looking forward to having that experience eventually.

[I believe] the cycle of life and death is endless, but [I also believe] that our perception of this cycle is warped by our reliance upon concrete linguistic associations. What is true for me is not necessarily true for you, and vice versa. However, [I believe] that anything we can envision somehow can AND WILL exist, so therefore, envision with care. [I also believe] that the vast majority of existence is inaccessible to the human mind. Only by dying can we travel elsewhere. Thus, if you can envision true_love, you can somehow, someday, somewhere, in some life, experience it. This doesn't mean it will happen tomorrow. I thank [the gods] for Life, Death and Love.

i think as an action may be the best way to think of it; love that is. but funny how, one conversation can negate all past actions in the minds of some. the way i feel now doesn't change the way i felt then. the way you are acting now might just change the way i will feel. but, i forgot what it felt like to have a broken heart for a few months. i forgot what it felt like for the force of my tears to tear my heart apart. that's always a nice thing to be reminded of.

Love is generally good. It often results in more people, and occasionally causes poetry.
